Santa

We went up to Salt Lake for Thanksgiving and had a Christmas Party on Saturday. Brady's folks were in charge this year and they had Santa come. Most of the kids were so amazed with Santa. (2 little girls did not like or want anything to do with Santa) Santa had a present for all of the kids with their names on it. The kids were so tickled to have Santa call them up one by one and give them their present.

A photo like this is what makes Christmas to me. The wonder and joy in a child's eyes.

I have a hard time with the Santa thing and trying to have Christmas more for Christ instead of all the they toys and the give me give me attitudes that lots of people have now days.

Well i just had a second and this is my second favorite photo of the night so i thought i would share and i will post the others later.

32 1/2 Weeks

HUM... 32 1/2 weeks.... WOW..... AHHHHHHHH..... That means at the best if I make it all the way to my due date (Christmas Eve) that i have 7 1/2 Weeks left.. So please all pray that i have this baby on my due date!!! I don't want an early baby.... Why???? Well i have to too much fun things that i want to do.

There is not enough time in the day and all the ugh stuff like dishes and house work keep getting in my way... Why cant i just sew??? and make things???? On my project list i have blessing blankets to make, a car seat blanket for a friend/ cousin and a "lovey" blanket for my little one. Then i figured out how to recover my car seat so i want to do that one too... I need to go through all my baby clothes and see if there is anything that i need to get... Oh and did we all forget that Christmas is like 54 days away... The good thing about that is i have almost all my Christmas done OK lets just say half of my Christmas shopping is done.

Well i went in to the doctor last Tuesday and he put me on 2 week visits. WOW two weeks and its just going to make it go by faster for me. Anyone have any ideas on how to make time stand still??? I am loving the stage right now. I love the kids kissing my belly and talking to baby sister... I love the kids trying to find names for the baby.... The odd thing is i love having my picture taken every 2 weeks and seeing the different in them.. Oh and in this photo it looks like my belly button is poking out, not so. My belly button has never poked out its just the strings from my pants. C man had to be in the photo with me:) Well i better go get my butt in bed so that i can go shop for food tomorrow so that we can all eat... I don't know why we have to eat but the kids get grumpy if i don't feed them. Then i will be cleaning the house so that i can do fun all my fun stuff on Saturday or Friday Just depends on when i can get my house to clean enough to do my projects :)

Car seat blankets

Well this was one of the projects that i have been wanting to do for a long long time. I finally found a get around to it and i got them done. I made these car seat blankets. The first one that i made was a green and pink minky one. My sister in law helped me pick out the fabric. I wish it was my blanket its so soft.
The second one is pink and the outside has lots of different colors.
They have been so much fun to make. I am getting excited to get out all my baby stuff. I am at that point that i am close but its to far to get it out. So i will move on to some other projects i have to get done.
The next project is blessing blankets for my friend and I. And then i have a car seat blanket to make for another friend/cousin. then i have a "lovey" blanket to make for my little girl. The lovey blanket is going to be so soft on one side and then silky on the other side. See its a bad thing that we have Jo Anns close by now. :) Well i better go to bed i have a lot to do tomorrow.

30 1/2 Weeks

Well here is my most resent photo. Yes it should say 30 1/2 weeks but i forgot the 1/2 of a week. Time just seems to fly by for me.. At the risk of getting into trouble with some of those that read my blog. I have now entered into the single digit count down.. Yes i know i have been freaking out about having this baby for quite some time but wow its close.

My Husband was wonderful yesterday he did about half of his honey do list. Yes i have a list for him made.. It helps that it rained most of the day.. He didn't even tell me that i was crazy for stressing out. I am proud to say we have a place to put this baby. The crib is up and we just need to go and get a mattress and the crib will be all ready. I also have a place in my room to put the baby i just need to get the bed put up.

I have finished most of the "projects" AKA all the things that i had to do for someone else. That were keeping me from doing all the fun stuff like making baby blankets and all that good stuff.

I do feel better about having this baby come so soon. I feel like i am getting on top of the things that i need/like to do. I am going to get some sewing done today i hope and then next weekend i am hoping to get my Christmas shopping all done.

See i have a cousin that just had her baby a week ago.

I have a friend that will have her baby in 2 WEEKS maybe 3 weeks but i think it will be 2 weeks I will know after Tuesday. Well when my friend has her baby then i am the next one in line.. YES i am going to say CRAP.... I start my 2 week visits on Tuesday... Please tell me were the time has gone.

P.S. This baby is going to be named BABY GIRL ABBOTT. We still don't have any ideas on names. I have came up with a ton of names and my dear husband has not liked any of them. So any help on the name thing would be wonderful. If we use your name that you suggest for a first/middle name I WILL GIVE YOU A GIFT CERTIFICATE. :)

This photo was taken 6 days before i had Colton I was not feeling good at all.

At least i am not as big as my husband was thinking i was. I still have a few weeks before i get as big as i was when i had Colton.

28 1/2 Weeks

Week 26 1/2

Well i sat in church last Sunday and was looking at my calender and all the stuff that i had to do before Christmas eve (when the baby comes) and i found that i was a 1/2 a week off!!!

So I have this friend that is 6 weeks more pregnant then I am. Well she came to my house the other week and told me that she was on her 2 week visits with the doctor!! Well i called her the next day and gave her an ear full. Why? Because that means i am almost to my 2 week visits and i am not NOT ready. I do not have a place to put this baby and i need to get clothes ready and see what i need!! I am having a winter baby and i don't have anything for a winter baby.. I have a blanket for my baby to make and one for a cousin that is 4 weeks behind me that i want to make one for... I also have all my Christmas shopping that i need to do AAAAAHHHHHHH is all i can say!!! Oh and when i think that i am going to have time to do something that i want to do my house falls apart and i don't get the stuff that i want to do done!!! Oh well Life..... So that's how i am at 26 1/2 weeks :)

Week 24

Huh this count down thing is SCARY for me!!!! I am so not ready to have this baby!!! Don't get me wrong i want this baby but i am not ready at all.. Time is just FLYING. I blame school. With Maccoy in school it makes my days fly by.

Well here is my 24 week photo. Can i get bigger??? I don't remember being this big with the other ones but i don't look at my self ether. Taking these pictures has been kind of a wake up call.

Week 22

Week 22

Wow i was looking back through all my photos and wow i have gotten big!!! I don't see myself in a mirror much and i just look down at my belly!!! So to myself i don't look big!!! Its amazing how fast 4 weeks goes by. It really flies when i put two sets of photos up too huh:)

I have had fun making blankets for this little girl. I made the cutest car seat blanket it looks like a watermelon and it is the softest thing you will ever touch.

20 Weeks

Week 20

Man don't i look good at midnight or so :) This was when we were on our awesome vacation that no one I mean NO one in my family wanted to come home from.

We had a week of shopping with my awesome sister in law that knows all the great places. We also had a blast doing lots of fun things. I will post some photos sooner or later :)

Well here i am at 20 weeks. Half way and i still cant believe that i am having another baby let alone a girl!!!

We went in for the ultrasound and had fun seeing our little one.

We also found out that the score at my house will not be balanced. The girls are going to out number the boys..

Yep we are having another little GIRL...

18 Weeks AGAIN!! YES I Said AGAIN!!

I know your wondering how I could be 18 weeks all over again when i "Should" be 20 weeks.. Well let me tell you a little story.

I have always questioned my due date. The reason why is when i was 4 or 5 days "late" I took a test and it came back negative. So i thought well that sucks and went on with life. Then about 3 weeks later I kind of had some pregnancy things and i thought what the heck i will humor my self so i took another test and boy i humored my self for sure!! That test came back positive so fast that i thought it was wrong. I took another test and yep it came back positive too.

SO when i made my first OB appointment with the doctor they asked me how far along i was and i told them kind of what happened so she told me that my due date was December 14 - 27. She said that the latest that it would be would be the 27Th of December. Well the doctor and nurses have always gone off the December 14Th due date. Fast forward to this last Tuesday. We went in for our ultrasound excited, scared and all that good stuff. The good news it there is a baby in there. I asked the tech if she could confirm the due date. She took 3 measurements and in all three i was measuring at 17 weeks and she told me that my due date should be the 27Th of December and that i needed to come back in a week and a half to have my ultrasound done because they would like me to be 18 - 20 weeks. So we get to go back in for the ultrasound on Friday ;) Nothing like making it a long week and a half!!

So all my photos up to this point are 2 weeks off. so the one that i took at 12 weeks should be 10 weeks and the 14 should be 12. So you get the idea...

And that is how you get to live two weeks all over again ;)

So i am 18 weeks AGAIN!!!

Maccoy's Birthday Cake

Maccoy wanted a pink Ladybug Birthday Cake.. We have something about ladybugs at our house. So Maccoy got her pink ladybug cake. She so loved it and thought that it was wonderful.

I love making cakes for my kids because they dont judge and think that you did it wrong, and they think that your the BEST for the lack of better words for making them what they want.

Lindsay's Birthday Cake

Here is the cake that I did for Lindsay!!! She wanted a BLUE ladybug cake. So she got one!!! This cake was one of the easier ones that i have ever done!!! Lindsay loved her cake and she keep giving me hugs and telling me thank you for the cake.

Colton's Birthday Cake

Well Colton was the last of the birthdays till December. For the kids I always ask them what kind of cake they would like and then i make it for them.. I am NOT a cake decorator. I try my best and am happy how it turns out. Colton wanted a truck cake for his birthday and this is how it turned out. I had cake left over so i made a trailer to go behind the truck. I thought it turned out cute. Colton LOVED it. that's all that mattered to me.

I love it when the kids get so happy over stuff that i do for them and its not perfect or from the store. It make me want to do it again for them. I think that this cake was the hardest one that i have done so far.

Week 18

Here is my Week 18 Photo. Wow time is going fast. Next time a post a photo i will be 20 weeks and half way through. I don't know if it has sunk in that we are having another baby or not... I am going for not.

We are going in for our ultrasound tomorrow!!! I am excited to get to see the baby!!!

Maccoy was helping me with one of my photo classes. The class was on Capturing a full range of expressions. Well i think this photo hit it...
I showed Brady and he laughed so hard that it made me laugh harder i thought i was going to pee my pants i was laughing so hard!!!
We see this stuff all the time i am just glad that i got a picture of it..
She is such a great kid..
That might just be a face that only a mother could love or at least in my case laugh at...

Week 16

Wow 2 weeks went by fast huh!! Just kidding it helps when i don't blog right away to make time go by fast :) here is my 16 week photo sorry about the shadow it does make me look bigger then i really am!! I am going to try and get better photos next time!!! There is always next time ;) I am still fitting in to my regular clothes they still fit well.

I am feeling the baby move more and more!! Its exciting... Well until next time have a good one.

12 and 14 weeks

I am so putting my self out on a limb here!!! :) but this is something that i have wanted to do since baby number one!!! I have always wanted to have a photo journal of my pregnancy!!! Well since this is my last baby i figured that i better get my butt in gear and get going!!! So you don't get to see any fabulous photos of my before pregnancy body and i started out at week 12!!! I am going to spear you of seeing my tummy bare since it looks like well we just wont go there!!! I just have too many stretch marks!!! I am excited to see how big or how not big i get with this pregnancy!! I have never been one to get big so we will see!!!

I am excited about this pregnancy. Morning sickness will not go away!! It has been getting worse. i think its dumb! I get sick at night and i hate it... I have been soooooo tired but that comes with it... I have started to feel the baby move :) :) that makes me super excited and it helps make everything worth it. It seems like it is taking forever and at the same time it feels like its going by fast. (the forever part is when i am sick). so here you have it weeks 12 and 14..

16 inches and lots of love

The start of the day went like this..
Maccoy: I want to cut my hair.
Me: Why?
Maccoy: Because.
Me: Because doesn't cut it.
Maccoy: I think it would be cute shorter
Me: When do you want to cut it?
Maccoy: Before Friday.
Me: Why Friday?
Maccoy: No answer.

This whole time i am thinking that its just one of those times that she said that she wants to cut it and not mean it.
So i told her to think about it and if she wanted it cut by the time school got out i would see what we could do to cut it.
So why she was at school i called a gal that i know that cuts hair and she said that we could cut Maccoys hair when she got home if she still wanted to cut it so that's what we did.

When we were on our way i asked her how short she wanted it and she said to her shoulders. When we got there i asked again and she still wanted it to her shoulders. I was the one that was scared to do it. I was just thinking what if she doesn't like it and all that good stuff but i had to keep reminding my self that it was her hair and its good for her to learn now at a young age what it means when you cut your hair if you like long hair. So she cut it.

there is 16 inches of hair in that pony tail. Maccoy is going to send her hair to locks of love for some little girl that doesn't have any hair!! She is so excited to do it.

Maccoy says that she loves having short hair.

Come to find out the big reason that she wanted to cut her hair is that lots of kids/friends at school would play with her hair and it would bug her. She would tell them to quit playing with her hair but they would still play with it. So she wanted to cut it so no one would play with her hair.

One thing I did not think i had to worry about..

Well i got home from Young Women (a church thing that i am involved in.) and Brady asked me if i wanted to see something so i said sure and he took me over to his truck and said what is that. I looked at it and said a bullet hole. Wow that's neat. Wait a bullet hole. Then came the 1,000 questions. you know, did you do it? how did you get it? is there anymore? ECT... So this is the story (the photos DO NOT give it any justice) You have to see it in life to get the real effect of it.

He was coming home from work. He was getting on the freeway and heard a thud. He thought it was a rock, he did see some smoke but thought nothing of it. came home decided to look at his truck and see if the "rock" did anything to the gas tank. Here are the pictures of the "rock".
If the bullet hit a foot either side of where it was it would have went into the cab.
If the bullet hit a foot back it would have hit him.
That day i NEVER thought that anything like this would have happened. I gave him a kiss and told him that i loved him that morning. It makes you think what if it didn't turn out like it did. Could you imagine getting a call saying your husband had been shot... What would you do? What do you tell your small kids? I think that i am getting him some bullet proofing something or other for his truck. A bullet proof vest / body gear. Lets just hope that Brady doesn't get shot at any more. Lets hope that it was a freak thing and that the freak things are done. Because next time we might not be as lucky. All i can say is the Lord was watching out for my family that day. I am grateful to the lord that he was watching out for us.
