Christmas 2007

We had a wonderful Christmas this year beginning with the Christmas Eve service at Lookout Pres, then dinner at the Fairyland Club with the Wingfields (sitting next to the Kent table as always). Then Christmas morning we had a short time here together, then went to the Wingfields for a fun Christmas morning. In the afternoon, we went to the Kents and then to the big Kent family dinner at my aunt and uncle's house. It was a busy day, but such a gift to be with so much family.

We had an AWESOME time at Disney World the week before Christmaswith Beth's extended family, the Kents- there were 29 of us!

This past Saturday, Joseph and I rode up to Knoxville with his parents for the UT/GA game. Joseph and I met up with sweet Katie J. Kehne and her husband, Seth. Later, we saw my sister Susan on campus and hung out with her for awhile before heading into the game. We had great seats that a friend had given us. It was really fun although the Dawgs let us down- bad! I had fun playing where's waldo looking for susan and my cousin William and then June and Jackson in the crowd.

3rd Time Is A Charm

Joseph surprised me Sunday morning with his mother June coming over to pick up Teddy and take him to church and told me to pack my bag. He didn't tell me where we were going but said to take a bathing suit and nice, dressy clothes, and my tennis shoes. So, I was very confused. We flew out of Chattanooga to Cincinatti. We walked to our next gate, and he said look over there that's where we're going and pointed to a flight to Tampa, FL. I said, oh how nice, thinking that's kind of random. Then he said just kidding, look there. The sign said Las Vegas, NV! So, we flew there for a surprise 3rd anniversary trip(10.2.04). It was AMAZING. We stayed at the Bellagio (the one with the fountains in Ocean's 11). We went to the spa there for massages, and played some blackjack. We saw "O," one of the Cirque du Soleil shows- 7th row seats- GREAT show! Ate fantastic food at a restaurant called Jasmine, another called Aquaknox, and great dessert at Wolfgang Puck's in San Marco square at the Venetian. Saw the Blue Man Group show from the 6th row. Walked around town and through some other hotels and casinos. It was a wonderful trip, and I am so proud of Joseph for surprising me. He treats me like a princess!
