Well, well, well. I have survived! I did it and I can say I truly loved it. What are you talking about you ask? Well, I gave the Relief Society lesson on Sunday about the Atonement, None were with Him, and it went surprisingly well. Man I was really scared though. I think that everyone is when in this spot. I just really put my all in it the week before, preparing for this and also tried to gather my thoughts and stories of my life with my own personal experiences of my own life. It was awesome. I didn't think that people would get much from this because I thought that it was an ok talk, but I had a ton of women come up to me and tell me they loved it, and also many phone calls. I would even teach again. Did i just say that?!
Also we accomplished the baptism of my son Gavyn. His special day was really cool. He had the biggest grin on his face the whole day and he wore it proud. We had my dad and Bryan's dad bare their testimonies and it was great. What great examples of Priesthood holders he has in his life. I am very blessed in my life to have all of these men in my life and my children's. We have pictures of this day with my family but Bryan's family left too fast so we couldn't get a picture.
We all are staying busy over in these neck of the woods and are getting ready to go on a family camp out on October 9th and 10th. My kids are very excited for this and I guess so am I. I can't wait to get away for a couple of days and escape reality for a few days. I am going to try to be better at this blog thing and get back to the normal around here. So just bare with me and hopefully this will take off!!!!
