Holidays, Family, Busy Lifes!

It's been four months of marriage already! I can't believe how time flies. We have had so many good times. I've been so busy with work and Life Flight, plus I'm back in SCHOOL. I don't even have facebook to blame because I don't have one. Crazy I know!! I'm getting my BSN for Life Flight, it pretty much takes up most of my time, but I do manage to squeeze in some quality family time.

We are Back!

T.W. and I had a wonderful wedding and our honeymoon was the best. Our honeymoon didn't start out the way we imagined but we made it through. T.W. got swine flu the first full day we were there, and was so sick! Luckily I'm a nurse,,, who has some awesome friends to help us get some Tamiflu. He got better quickly and we had the time of our lives! I can't wait to share those pictures with you guys as well. I'm still waiting for my wedding pictures to be mailed to me and expect them any day. I told them to wait since we would be gone our our honeymoon. Our photographer was awesome and showed me some of the pictures he took. I can't wait to see them!

My Baby Sis got Married!

The last of the three girls in our family is finally married. Colleen got married a few weeks ago up north. It was a beautiful wedding and reception, one of the nicest I've been to. She really did a good job! Her dress was so pretty on her, she looked radiant. Me and the kids had a great time and got to meet a lot of the people in Colleen's life. She has an amazing support group up there and married a great guy. I'm so proud of her and can't wait to see her have kids one day.

Summer is CRAZY!

This summer has been going so crazy! It reminds me of riding in a car and looking out the window as the bushes are flying past. My life is those bushes, it's almost seeming like a blurr! Hopefully we will relax in Hawaii and life will slow down. Well there is a lot to catch up on. We had Matt week (a friend from Washington that came to stay with us) where we did a lot of hiking and stuff out doors. Matt has never been to Utah so we showed him some highlights in Southern Utah and Northern Arizona. He loved it, we hope he comes back soon because there is sooooo many things to see! Here are some of the places we visited:

Engagement Pictures are Finally Done!

T.W. and I finally got our engagement pictures done, that is such a huge relief! I'm planning on getting the announcements out next week or the first of the next week. We had an awesome photographer from Hurricane, her name is Nissa from Hot Shots Photography. She was great to work with and we had so much fun! We went hiking in Red Cliffs over by Leeds, it was so beautiful. I loved the pictures she got of us, they are amazing. Nissa took so many (418 of them),, it was hard to choose what to put on the announcement. These are a few of our favorite ones. Getting all the plans ready for the wedding makes me so excited! We have pretty much everything planned, with the exception of a few loose ends.

Little Vacation before the Big One!

T.W. and I had a fast getaway to San Diego this week. We had so much fun even thought we didn't have much time to spend. Of course we went to Sea World, T.W. had never been. It was a lot of fun, we had to go 2 days just to see everything. I think the funnest thing we did there was go to the GasLamp district. We ate some awesome food and walked all over the place! We had a blast! Old Town San Diego was a great place to visit as well.

Memorial Weekend

For Memorial weekend we headed out of town,,, destination Navajo Lake! I haven't been to Navajo Lake in years! It's so pretty this time of year and we decided we needed a break from the hot desert weather. Although it was WAY cooler we had a great time, of course wearing 3 layers of clothing, lol. The first day we got there we got snowed on,,, while in the boat and going less than 5 mph to get back to shore. We were a little soaked :( That first night we had a huge thunder storm and didn't get to make a fire so we cooked our dinner inside. William loves hobo dinners! He got way excited that we were going to make them in the oven, and said can we make them at home too?! He cracks me up because when Nicail and I made them last time he said he thought they looked gross and didn't want one until they started to cook.




We had a fun trip,,, fishing,,, relaxing,,,, enjoying nature!

**Keep Karter in Your Prayers*

My sister had her baby last week, which should be a happy thing for every parent. Unfortunately her baby was very sick and diagnosed with Diaphragmatic Hernia shortly after birth; which is when there is a hole in the diaphragm and the intestines are pushed through that hole up into the chest cavity where the left lung is. This diagnosis is only fixable through surgery. We prayed for little Karter all weekend in hopes that his surgery would go well. Monday morning he had his surgery and the surgeon wasn't happier to say it was a success!! Karter's strength is so incouraging! Keep him in your prayers, so that he can have a safe and fast recovery! His family prays for the day they can take him home!

*Bachelorette Party In Vegas*

What a wild and crazy night we had in Las Vegas last weekend! Get a bunch of screaming girls in Vegas,,, on a mechanical bull,,,, dancing the night away,,,, now that's some fun, lol. My awesome co-workers put together a party in my honor prior to my big day in July. We played at the pool all day and danced all night at a country western bar called Stoney's. This is an awesome bunch of girls I work with! Enjoy our crazy pictures! This is what it's all about, setting down and getting married to the love of my life! YEHAW!

Nicail turns 12!!

Nicail turned 12 this last week! She loves to have a birthday party with all her friends, so we try to do something fun each year. This year we decided on having a Survivor theme. Lol it was great fun! We had three challenges all together and split everyone into five groups. We had an obstacle course, a race and of course the eating challenge. The eating challenge was so funny. T.W. and I picked six different foods that were edible, but looked disgusting, lol. We had pigs blood, kitty liter (which was oatmeal and almond roca), donor eyeballs (cherries and skittles in a jar), cow patties, monkey burgers (french style green beans with corn syrup and food coloring), and baby diapers. The kids were totally mortified that they had to eat this stuff, but decided quickly that is was actually yummy! The kids had a blast at the party and can't wait until next year!

Fishing at Grandpa's Pond...

Last weekend we decided to go fishing at Grandpa's Pond. It's a pond close to our house in Hurricane that we like to fish sometimes. Baker is our favorite spot to go, but we decided to try something different. A few years ago they found an alligator in this pond! It was nearly 4 feet long! Who knows how it got there, someone must of had it as a pet and let it go. I guess now that the alligator is gone there is better fishing, lol. T.W. and I didn't catch anything but Will got lucky fishing with his fish eggs and caught a nice rainbow trout. He was very excited to be the only one to catch a fish that day!

William Gets 1ST Place!!!

William participated in our ward's Pinewood Derby Race last week. He had so much fun building his car this year. The theme for the year was the Jurassic Era, so Will added a dinosaur to his car and named his car Raptor. Will got to race three times, once on each track. He took first on all three races and tied overall with another kid for first. They raced each other on the track, once again on each track and Will won 2 of the 3 races! He was so excited! Will did a great job with his car!
