Snowball People

Today's new release over at A Day for Daisies is one of my favorites. I just love a cute snowman design and these cute Snowball people are some of the cutest. There is also a more traditional set of digital images in this weeks release.

I decided to make a couple of Thank You cards to use through the holiday season. 

These cards are 4x4 each and still fit inside a regular A2 envelope so no extra postage needed.

Isn't Snowball Sam adorable? I think he is my favorite.

This is Snowball Diane who is also pretty cute.

City Sidewalks ~ MM43

Well I went into my box that I keep all my completed Christmas cards in and the grand total for this year is eighty (80). Can't believe I made that many cards this year. Kind of fun to go through the box and look at each one.

Well it is Monday and time for the last Merry Monday sketch challenge until after the New Year. 

I used some new papers by Pink Paislee on my card from the 'City Sidewalks' collection. I love the colors in it and the warm vintage feel to it.

Happiness

Today is my day to share a card that I created with the November card kit over at Artful Delight. 

I just love the bright pink mixed with the grey and black in these papers. I threaded the little black zig zag ribbon through the button and kept the edges long.

I used Karen's sketch for the inspiration on my card.

This is my last post using this kit and tomorrow Leeanne reveals the December kit to all of us. I can't wait for you to see it!

I have a card to share with you today that uses the free image (snowball scott) that Tammy is giving away this week over at A Day for Daisies. 

  I think he is totally adorable and goes so well with next weeks release.

For my card I used my favorite Sizzix snowflake embossing folder along with papers and polaroid frame by Studio Calico from the 'wonderland' collection. The ribbon is hand dyed by me. I colored with Copic markers and added a snowflake with a button and crystal gem.

silver and gold PP122

(this is my second post today, scroll down to see the other one)

A couple of quick cards for you today that I created for this weeks challenge over at the Paper Players, this week the challenge is to make a project using silver or gold.

This first card was really easy to put together (my favorite kind). I used a big silver glitter star that I picked up at Target in the Christmas ornament aisle. I added a 'winter wishes' flair badge and put it all on top of a piece of solar white linen paper that I embossed with snowflakes.

This next card took a couple more minutes to make. I used a Maya Road chipboard snowflake that I painted with Adirondack Metallics paint dabber. I added some Stampendous 'shaved ice' to the snowflake while it was still wet. The sentiment is Paper Smooches. After all that I felt it needed just a little bit more so I used the same embossing folder and a couple of gold dew drops from my stash. I layered the embossed piece with some gold stardreams paper.

Since I love how these cards turned out I might have to make a few more for the holidays.

your friendship warms my heart

I have to say I had fun creating this card today. I used some digital papers that I picked up over at Design House Digitals. There is so much to choose from I didn't know where to start.

I picked up this freebie designed by Karen Funk called 'for the boys'. I love the colors and the patterns in each of the papers.

I added a button and some twine along with a sentiment and my card  was complete.

I used this weeks sketch over at retro sketches as the inspiration for this card. And even if I do say so myself I really like how it turned out.

Season's Greetings - MM42

 Hello and welcome to another Merry Monday challenge.

For my card I used papers and stickers from the Crate Paper collection called Sleigh Ride.  The moment I saw this collection I knew I had to have it. I love the colors and the vintage feel to it.

Don't you just love it when you find that perfect stamp that makes you smile every time you see it? Well this little stamp by Art Impressions does that for me. I just love those sweet penguins.

I created this card using Copics, some glossy accents and paper from the Echo Park 'very merry christmas' 6x6 pad.

I used this weeks sketch at CAS(E) this sketch as my inspiration.

Acorn Boy Fairy

Friday, and Tammy has a couple of new images for us over at A Day for Daisies.

I got to play with Acorn Boy Fairy along with some new papers from Crate Paper called 'Acorn Avenue'.  I just had to use them since they both had the same name, kind of. I also used some buttons by October Afternoon and a bit of twine from my stash.

I still can't believe that I am on the Merry Monday Design Team. I love making Christmas cards more than any kind of card so this was the perfect fit for me.

I created this card using some new papers by Studio Calico from the Wonderland collection, the sentiment and buttons are by PaperTrey Ink and the snowflake punch is by Martha Stewart.

Merry Christmoose ~ CHNC#98

Since it is a grey and rainy day here mixed with a few snowflakes I thought I would color in an image for a new challenge blog I found.

The challenge this week over at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge is to create a Christmas card suitable for a man or a boy.

I won 10 images a couple weeks ago over at Bugaboo Stamps and bought this cute reindeer image. The paper is new from the Echo Park 'very merry christmas' collection and that cute ivy is from a new Martha Stewart punch. I added some doodlebug design mini pearls for the berries.

I think it looks masculine. What do you think?

make a wish

A quick card to share that I made for this weeks challenge at Bugaboo Stamps. The challenge this week is 'things with tails'.

I absolutely love this little dinosaur image and was happy he had a tail so I could use him in the current challenge, and I got to use my favorite color green too. I pulled out some of my Project Life stash for this card (the label and journal tag). The embossing folder is a new one I picked up this weekend called 'falling dots'.

Happy Fall - CTS#5

I am still working on using all my stamps at least once and this weeks sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch was perfect to use this Fall stamp set by Inky Antics called 'Squirrel'.

I kept the card really simple and stamped the sentiment in ripe avocado and dark chocolate and colored the leaves my my Copics.

So grateful for YOU.

As I stated a few days ago I am doing an early New Years resolution which is to make a dent in my un-inked stamps and dies.

My card today uses a PTI die and stamp set called Lovely Layers. 

I also used papers by BasicGrey from the 'Lucille' collection. I picked mine up at Stamp Your Life.

I used this weeks sketch over at Freshly Made for the inspiration on my cards layout.

Thankful Hearts - Challenge #57 Autumn Colors

Friday and that means time for a new release and a challenge over at the A Day for Daisies blog.

I got to play with the image 'music to my ears' this week.

I pulled out my Artful Delight Card Club kit for November along with some Pebbles alpha stickers and a couple of dies to create this card.

I absolutely love this floral paper along with that floral brad and fabric tape that are in the kit.
