this year's cny was pretty much the same as the previous one.. steamboating, and chinatown shopping.. haha! as usual, we headed chinatown after reunion dinner and were pretty much "squeezed" throughout the entire trip.. but we had a lot of fun! =D

cny day one was kinda boring despite the continuous streaming in of ang pows! hahhaa! went church in the morning for the annual cny service and headed home.. and we watched ip.man 4 times that particular day!!

for those who had watched that particular kung.fu movie, there's this scene where the hooligan comes to fo.shan and challenged ip.man for duel in his resident..

dad shouts: 我赔！

hooligan breaks the potted plant and said: 我赔！

all the way till the movie was screened 4th time that day for relatives that missed out the show.. and for the 4th time..

dad: forgets to shout..

pretty occupied recently with school, work, hampers, tkd..

haha! talking about tkd, my muscles are in a degenerating mode after tue's session at nyp.. considering that was my ever first actual training session after near 1year.. i guessed i still din perform far under expectations.. LOL! self comfort la.. but nevertheless, i'm kinda motivated and shall try not to embarass myself too much during ivp.. lalalalas... hahha!


made a few purchases recently despite the economy down-turn..

1. HTC Smartphone (My first ever PDA phone)
2. New Moon (After the long search and "out-of-stock" scenarios)
3. Real Estate Empire, Singapore (PC Game from cash converters! damn cheap!)

i had dinner last night with the usual cliques in the office - farewell dinner for peggy who will be leaving the company on 22Jan for a kopitiam lady boss position.. hehe.. well, she was my first batam chinese friend cum translator cum driver cum complains absorber.. will definitely miss her.. now i guess i'm kinda all alone again..

anw, good news is, we have a singaporean qualified accountant who will be joining us permanently this february and a new accounting assistant who had joined us last week.. both are CHINESE men.. happy that there are more chinese now, but kinda sad coz they are men.. but i see a good start for this company..

i kinda shopped alittle last night, and everything was on SALE!!! wahahaha.. saw alot of fire poppers, crackers, mini fire works.. unfortunately, it's banned in singapore.. yawns..

i just missed the boarding time for the ferry to batam.. -_______- so much for the rushing home, rushing to harbour front and etc.. i still missed it by 1 minute.. imagine that idiot counter staff sneering at me saying, "kar mun, you've missed the boarding time by one minnute! no boarding for you..".. i was like $#^#$&%^* so i made my way home with the laptop and marketing text book in my bag..

anw, shall go over tml in the first ferry.. yawns..

last week, while on my way to school with sijie, we kinda missed the tuas exit and went all the way to whampo area... while waiting for the traffic to turn green, i captured this.. funny signage for a kuay tiao stall.. haha! so much for attracting attention la..


oh, and i promised to teach shuling basic guitar for the past months.. finally, i've got a chance to teach her.. so i dug out the "abandoned" guitar from underneath the bed and not to my horror, my newly purchased magic dust wiper wasnt a match to the year-long accumulated dust!

updates again on my baobei cousin.. so cute la! i think i've found a "Technique" to make her laugh.. shall visit her more often.. hehe..

the day we declared - bankrupt.. (new year eve 2008) hahahas! darling, elizabeth, joel, alex, xueer, edwin, spent the new year eve doing business at cscc.. not to mention, majority of us declared bankrupt, no mood for further elaborations.. wahahhahahaa! what a nice start to the new year..

yesterday at the ocean ride (forgot the name).. there was this trail simulator machine where public were allowed to experience the "ride".. inside the dark constraint space, there were water splashing all over (effect).. darling looked as if he took a quick shower without towel after we exit the simulator.. wahahhas!
