Gymnastics, Part 2

Monday I finally remembered to take my camera again to take pictures of the 2nd rotation at gymnastics! It was trampoline, tumbling and balance beam. Ms. Jennifer, Emily's teacher, is great with the kids! She has such excitement and patience! Emily loves her! Of course she got to play in the blocks and sit on the green beam for stickers today too! That's Emily's favorite part I think!

Pumpkin Patch

We actually found a real pumpkin patch this year! Last year the "patch" was a pile of pre-picked pumpkins for you to pick from! This year, they gave you a wagon and some cutters and said have at it! We had a picnic lunch first and then went to find "Our Great Pumpkin" :) Emily loved it! She rode in the wagon for a little while and then wanted out! She just ran up and down the rows of pumpkins pointing them out, it was so cute! At one point we could barely see her (the picture labeled "Where's Emily) and all we heard was "Uh Uh Uh" (she was trying to lift it herself :)! Then she stood up holding a pumpkin and said "I want this one!" So, that was Emily's pumpkin! The pictures were too cute not to post, so I'm afraid there's quite a few to look at! Enjoy!

Emily's Jeep

Some friends of ours from Fort Smith gave Emily their Barbie Jeep! She has been dying to ride it since we got it on Wednesday and this afternoon she finally got to! She absolutely LOVED IT!! All she can do is press the gas pedal...no steering or anything yet but that's what Daddy is for :) Charles says she learned to drive from watching me :)

Trip to Grandma & Pa's

Thursday Emily and I went to visit Grandma & Pa for the night. We met Leslie, my best friend since 3rd grade at their house. We think it had been 2 years since we had seen each other! We had a great time catching up on everything! Pa grilled hamburgers out with a little help from Emily! On Friday morning we went to visit Grandma's brother and sisters, we had 4 generations of family together so I had to take a picture! Emily got to meet Goosey up close and personal! I think we have officially renamed Ma to Grandma, Emily called her Grandma most of the weekend. Pa is still Pa :)

Weekend in Dallas

Last Weekend Charles and I spent the weekend in Dallas with Vicky and Jeremy. Emily stayed with Gigi and Mimi and Bub and had a great time! We drove down on Saturday and did a little shopping. Then Saturday night we had dinner at a great restaurant called Brio's. After dinner we walked around Oktoberfest in Southlake and then had dessert at the Cheesecake Factory... YUMMM!!! On Sunday we went to our first Dallas Cowboys game! I got to see my "girls" (the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders....love them!!)! I didn't really watch a lot of the game but Dallas won so it was good!
