While on vacation in Seaside,

we had an elevator that opened up into our condo.

Little Man is not going to know what to think about our crazy family!

First Day of School 2011

Okay...I'm 5 days behind here!

We started school on Monday.

To say this week has been a beating,

would be an extreme understatement!

The first week of school is such a rude awakening!

This was a hard year... all 3 kids changed schools.

3 different schools.

including high school. ugh.

9th, 7th, & 5th grades!!

We are looking forward to a great year!

The first week went well and everyone seems to be happy!

Halle Caroline also had her 1st pep rally that she cheered at on this FDOS!

She was too cute!

It's going to be a super fun, crazy, busy year!

And I think I am going to have to hire an extra driver or 3 to get these kiddos to all of their activities! ;)

You came in the middle of the night...

and you haven't stopped moving yet!

And you are still a night owl!

As I type this at 10:31 pm, on the 3rd night of school,

when the rest of us are exhausted and feel like we've been sucka punched in the gut

after having to get up so early and not being used to the routine...

you are still awake and raring to go!

You are just a joy sweet Ella B!

You are the messiest in our family....

but you are also my biggest helper.

I know I can always count on you to help me

get something done quickly if I am in a bind!

You are a pleaser...

Always looking for affirmation

You are an amazing tumbler...

we just watch you and laugh at all the crazy things you do.

Although, for the first time, 

I was scared watching you learn your full

when you were doing it by yourself.

I wish I could bottle up your energy.

you.never.stop.moving!!! ever.

We are so proud of you that you rang the bell at kamp last month,

giving your life to Christ... 

we can't wait to see what our precious Lord has in store for you in the years to come!

Seaside Continued...

Seaside continued...

Y'all I have a problem with making decisions,

which I am posting tons of our pictures so that I don't have to decide!

It's also why we don't have Little Man here right now...

due to the fact that it took us a good year to decide 

to adopt after He started telling us to do so! :)

of course we thought about Little Man so much!

and at some point I'll share with you how many crazy pics it took to get my kids to just get this picture!

We had to go through all kinds of silly crazy acting to get this!

Mind you, they are 14, 12, and 9 in this pic... you would think it would be easy... smile and say cheese... but NO! We had to go through all kinds of crazy poses just to get this!

And of course we had to visit the Sugar Shak at Rosemary Beach! It is a candy store with all kinds of candy.... everything you can remember from when you were a kid... so fun!

It was an amazing vacation and we LOVED every second of it!

Even though I did tell God that this week would have been an excellent time to give us our referral... but oh well... not His timing yet!

Seaside

This is going to be an obscene amount of pics...

So Seaside was on my bucket list.

I just had to go there after hearing so much about it.

It did not dissappoint.

Quaint little town, like something out of a story book...

I fell in love at first sight!

Brooks did NOT want to go to the beach!

Thought that he hated the beach!

I told him that he absolutely could NOT be a Cheatham,

if he hated the beach.

Guess who decided he like the beach?

He actaually gave the vacation a "10!" on a scale from 1-10

Praise the Lord!
