Halle Caroline is 13!

It's funny...

how I think my kids could care less about this blog.

and then for the 3rd time...

Halle Caroline said, "mom, you haven't blogged my birthday..."

And sweet girl...

your 13th birthday is so very special...

and I realize that life has been crazy and out of control

and all about Beck Gudeta in this season...

but here is your blog post...

because it is so very important.

And I do want to honor you!

So...

sweet Halle Caroline spent her birthday at cheer camp...

not the first place she would have picked...

but she was a trooper about it.

She and her friend, Miss A

 After a long, hard day of cheer...

we met her for a late snack of pizza and cookie cake,

at her dorm.

 She shares a birthday with another girl on her team,

so it was a double celebration!

 a little more cheer camp...

Happy 13th birthday Halle Caroline!

We love you so much!

We CLEARED!!!

 That's right!!!

We cleared Embassy

(yesterday, July 11th)

and we are headed to get our boy!!!!

I CANNOT BELIEVE IT IS FINALLY HERE!

2 1/2 years in the making,

and here FINALLY is.

God is good

and faithful.

and I'm about to have a 3 year old! ha!

yikes!

remind me again all the stuff that toddlers do! lol! :)

We are SO EXCITED!

Here's an update...

NOTHING.

BIG FAT NOTHING.

NO UPDATE.

NO PLANS TO HEAD TO GET OUR BOY.

Our file has now been at the embassy for 2 1/2 weeks.

That could be worse or could be better.

People have waited much longer...

and there are people that were submitted after us that have already cleared.

On a positive note...

the embassy has agreed to do a phone interview with "our person"...

although, 

getting that phone call done could be like an act of congress.

from what I hear...

We did however get some pics of our cute boy this week.

just standin there... waitin for us to come get him!

Pretty sure he's the cutest thing in the whole history of the world!
