Soocer for the kids!

The kids started soccer at the first of the month. I have been busy with COACHING Chrislyn's soccer team so I hadn't taken any pictures of them until Saturday.
Chet has been doing pretty good! He scored two goals two weeks ago but last week he hurt his foot pretty good and so he struggled a bit in his game on saturday!

Chrislyn is playing up a year so she can play with her cousin Maryanne. She works really hard to keep up with the older girls! She loves to play goalie! She does really good at it too! I am not the super all-star soccer coach but we have had alot of fun together! I hope Chrislyn knows that I would do anything for her which includes coaching a sport I know NOTHING about while fighting all of her younger siblings! Good Times!

First day of school for Cooper

So, Cooper started his first day of school today. It was horrifying for me to say the least! I probably prayed at least a million times! I went and watched him for a little while but when he tried to get out of the singing without success he cried out for his "Mommy!" Even though he couldn't see me, I had to leave! When he got home he had just woken up forom a nap and was scared!!! It took a little while for him to warm up to being home but when he did he was VERY happy! I sure missed him but I also know he needs this schooling to help him talk!

Run Down of Coop's B-Day

We had a fun birthday with Cooper! He loved all his gifts! We gave him a Yankee hat and at first he didn't want to wear it (he loved his old newborn hat and couldn't let it go) so we put on Sandlot and showed him that Ham had a Yankee hat. That was all it took!

Happy Birthday Cooper!

We sure love this little guy! He has been such a blessing in our lives! It seems like yesterday that we were walking the floors every night with him and now here he is almost sleeping through the night! Cooper is a unique little man! He LOVES baseball! He can't talk very much but he can quote almost every word to the Sandlot. Cooper is such a great kid! Happy Birthday little man!

Atkinson Labor Day Hike! (aka Bootie Kicker!)

We had a fun Labor Day!!! We headed into the mountains on one of Grandpa A's hikes! 6 Adults (Chris's parents, Brian and Jodi, Chris and I) and 7 kids. It was hot but we had a good time! Our kids did awesome too! The hike for the most part was uphill and we didn't hear any complaining from the kids until we were almost finished!
After the hike we took Brian's back way of getting home and it was a good thing we were all in 4-wheel-drive vehicles because we needed all the help we could get!
I loved every second of it!

"Courty Cakes" Birthday

It is hard to believe that Court is already ONE! Courtlin sure had a fun birthday!!! We went to Grandma and Grandpa Atkinson's house where Court got to swing in the hammock (her favorite thing in the entire world) and eat her cake! She was sure tuckered by the end of the night! Too much attention! Her brothers and sisters got to play with her presents but Court didn't care! She just loved the boxes that they came in!

HaPpY BiRtHdAy CiCeLy!!!

Cicely has turned 7 years old! Time has sure flown with this girl! She keeps up laughing! Cicely sure loved ALL her gifts for her birthday! Especially the TROY BOLTON folder Aunt Jodi gave her and the outfit Grammie and Grandpa gave her!(She didn't take it off for two days!) Our life has sure been blessed by having our "Sweet Pea" in our lives!
