Daddy's birthday!

This year for Colbys birthday his mom was visiting so we all went to the Science Center for the day. For supper Colby wanted PaPa Murphy's so it was a fun filled, good food filled day!

Rosa wanted to make Colbys cake this year. She is very into Abstract stuff, which is good for her because if she tries to make something and it does not work out then it is okay because it does not have to look like anything. If you look close you can see some balloons and flowers. I think she did a great job for her first cake!

Rosa's Walk-a-thon

At Rosa's school instead of selling things like cookies, or christmas items that are overpriced and no one wants and the school only gets 10 percent of what you sell, they have a walk-a-thon. The kids walk for 30 minutes, and people donate to them. The school gets 100 percent of the profit! The kids loved it, they had stations set up for dancing, limbo, popping bubbles and so forth. Your family could come walk with you. It was a lot of fun to see how excited they were about something so simple. I also love it, I appreciate not having to sell stuff!

Peyson is holding his own!

Grandma ran and walked a lot, but at the end she was looking for a slower partner!

This was the funniest thing, those of you who know Peyson know that he is not fast. Nothing about him is fast, he moves in slow motion all the time! So Grandma says "Peyson do you want to walk with me?" and he just took off. I have never seen anything like it, he moved so fast! Poor Grandma

We saw this truck at the mall and you have never seen such excited kids! They actually saw it several rows over and begged to park by it.

Brotherly support at Rosas soccer game

Rosa started soccer this fall and she is still not sure how much she likes it. She is pretty hesitant when the game first starts but then she will get in there a little more towards the end of the game. Been fun, but not sure she will play again. But I am sure someone will!

Logan is doing very well in preschool. He likes to go, but would still prefer to stay home. He is a big help to me during the times that the 3 and 4 year olds play together at school. He always picks the sad or lonely kids to try and play with. He has such a big heart. This week he learned of the oil spill from somewhere, he asked if we knew about that oil spill or if we knew what a oil spill was "its kind of like a coke spill mom" He likes to be a clown and is constantly trying to make us laugh. However most of the time he thinks the best way to make us laugh is by mooning us. He is such a sweet, sensitive and fun boy! How luck we are

Our Reah

Reah is growing and growing more every day. In most ways...she is still a shorty! Rosa said last week that Reah was the funniest baby she ever knew, and it is true. She has a wonderful personality. She loves to make us laugh or just make herself laugh. She is goofy and funny with a little bit of temper added in. For the most part she is pretty laid back, not getting to worked up over much (which was greatly needed around here). She is a little slow talking, mostly because she has no need someone is always talking for her! But we have started using some basic signs with her and this week she picked up her first three very quickly.

She is so wonderful and how blessed we are to have her as our baby!

Rosa's first day of Kindergarten!

Well my baby started kindergarten today and she barely gave us a wave goodbye! She was so excited she could hardly eat breakfast. I decided that school breaks every instinct we have as parents. until now we have always been so cautious about who we leave our kids with and what they do. And today I say here you go, I entrust you with my daughter all because someone else told me it was ok! I wanted to ask for their fingerprints and spy on them during recess! lol

But we survived and Bryant was the only person who shed a slight tear. We got ready to leave her and a panic stricken look crossed his face and he exclaimed, "we cant just leave her here!"

Reah was super cute. I was taking rosas pic and Reah backed herself up too.

Our goodbye glance

My sweet, wonderful, kind and beautiful baby girl! I cannot believe how quickly she has grown and how fast time has flown. I am almost afraid to blink for fear she will be a teenager. She was so excited and I am so pleased in the little person she is becoming.
