Make Them Laugh!

You may recall our struggle to get a genuine smile out of Liam. Well it has officially been sighted! I would love to say that it is due to my tremendous acting/coercing skills, but in the end it may simply be because I'm goofy looking, especially now that I have a goatee (maaaaaaa!). Luckily it's still too short to be grabbed by mr. Liam who I must say has a very good grip. Anyway without further ado, I present to you Liam's official big smile captured and recorded!  

Milestones!

So, we hit a milestone on the 26th. Liam dropped his 2 am feeding. My friend Laurel was right, you wake up in the middle of the night and look at the clock and think what the heck happened. I woke up about 4:20 and had to of course, wake Jon up. Liam woke up shortly after for his 5 am feeding. I'll be honest though, I crept silently up the stairs and listened through the door to make sure everything was ok. Last night, he fussed a bit around 2:30 but went back to sleep. Yeah! For some reason though, I feel more tired. I guess my body isn't quite sure what to do with all this sleep. On that note, we'll leave you with some fun pics!

7 Weeks

It's been awhile since we posted, so here are some recent pictures..taken yesterday and today. Not much to report except for more smiles and lots of gas! We're almost at the 2 months mark! Woo Hoo!

Funny Faces

Here is a small little collection of pictures that we found were quite funny. Liam already has the talent for comedy. Oh sure we are still in the silent comedy stage, but I have full confidence that once he develops his speech he will have great one liners to go along with those hysterical faces. Until then here are my one liners...

Are you trying to pull a fast one on me?	STAND UP AND SHOUT!
How am I supposed to know what pairs well with breast milk? I can't even eat solids yet!	This bouncy seat really needs an arm rest.

Oh, and we thought we would share with you a little experiment we did using Picasa. I must say the use of sepia in this case definitely enhances the effect.

Supply and Demand...

As the demand keeps coming the posting keeps going. It's the law of pictures and fans. It seems some fans can't get enough of this little man. So we buckled up yet again and took more pics. I'm thinking we've exhausted the locations we can take pictures. We're going to have to work on getting more creative (any suggestions are welcome, however we are not attaching him to the cieling fan). For now here are a few more traditional pics. Don't worry no babies or parents were harmed in the process of taking these pics.

	As you can see we still haven't perfected the art of catching smiles. It still looks like he ate smelly cheese.
	I told you the bouncer was his favorite place to hang out in. He can sleep for hours in that thing!
	I knew Jessie was a hottie, but now I know I'm not the only admirer
	I like to call this one, Mom likes to show me off.

All Smiles

Liam has been smiling for about the last week. It seems on purpose but who knows, it could be gas. Most of the time it happens in the morning after waking up from a good night's rest - for him, not us. We tried to catch it on camera this morning and were almost sucessful. It's unfortunate that you can't see the whole progression of his smile. It's funny the way he starts out with just a little quirk of the lip and ends with squinty eyes and his mouth wide open like a huge belly laugh should be coming out. Until we're able to catch that on camera, we thought you'd enjoy these few shots we were able to get.  

Baby Parts

We've been trying for the last few days to get some pictures of all Liam's baby parts. It's very difficult to get him to hold still, that's for sure. So, here's a bit of what we were able to capture. A cutie down to his little toes!
