Christmas! and More Fun!

He opened one gift and then waited to open the rest when Karlee came.

Then we went to IHOP for our annual Christmas Breakfast Out.  This year it was Paul, Linzi, Hudson, and I.

Paul made this beautiful gift for me.  Our parents on their wedding or sealing day. So special!

The rest of the day we visited Grandma and Grandpa Price until I got sick:( No fun, but overall it was a very fun day.  Love being with my husband and kids!

A couple days after Christmas I won tickets to some activities downtown for New Years Eve. It was a 3 day event so we went down a couple of days before the actual New Years Eve.

December Fun!

This year Dec 1st started out with me having surgery. So it took me awhile to get into the holiday spirit. But finally we started getting out and doing stuff.

First was going with my ward's playgroup to Gardner Village to see the Elves.

Then it was a day of Santa.

Santa came to our playgroup. Hudson asked for a pig:) (toy story pig) and had a nice chat with him. Hudson is definitely not a shy kid.

Then we went to the Santa at the mall with my friends.

The group! Tessa did not enjoy the outing to see Santa but it was still fun.

Thanksgiving Day!

Thanksgiving was a fun day this year!

Started out jogging a very very cold 5k. 2nd year in a row. I like this tradition.

This year we decided to go to the Cracker Barrel for dinner. It was pretty fun but homemade food is definitely better.

The day ended by going shopping at 11:30 pm - 5 am the next morning. What a time we had!

TIS THE SEASON FOR TV

I realized each year I write about the shows I'm watching now. It's kind of a good thing I procrastinated because a few of the new shows are already cancelled. Bummer:(

So here's some new favorites:
Mike and Molly: Funny!!! One show that Paul likes to watch with me. It really has some good lines.


Better with You: Oh my I love Wednesday nights on ABC. 7-9 are all great shows. This one makes me laugh outloud.


Outsourced: Quite funny and I love the bali background music.


Continuing Shows:
Parenthood: I love this show. Its funny and heartfelt. Love the actors. I am usually sad when the episode ends.


Big Bang Theory: Another favorite of Paul and mine. Blossom being on it is a bit of a downer but still good.


Modern Family: I can't get enough of it. I haven't seen one episode that didn't crack me up. Cam is my favorite.


Grey's Anatomy: Watchin in it until the very end;)


I didn't want to look up every reality show. I am a junkie. Yes my guilty pleasure is any of the The "real" houswives...Top Chef...Project Runway...The Next Food Network Star..The Next Design Star...Top Chef Desserts...America's Next Top Model...Sister Wives...Say Yes to the Dress..and on and on. Yes I need help!

Well there's a little recap. Yes I watch too much tv...Yes I DVR way too many things...But it relaxes me and gives me something to do when the child is asleep and the husband is studying.

Some Fall Fun

Yesterday was a lot of fun. I really wanted to get out and do some fun fall things.

We got together with our friends the Fowlers to go to a little festival at daybreak and then a pumpkin patch. Well the daybreak thing was sooo crowded and they didn't have enough stuff for the kids so we stayed about 20 minutes. Then it was raining so hard the pumpkin patch was out:(

Luckily I had planned to have the kids frost cookies so it wasn't a total dud of a day;)

First we had the kids decorate aprons.


Then we frosted a lot of cookies.

We finished out the night by going to our Ward Halloween Party.

I found out that Paul had a karate outfit he got on his mission in Japan so I thought I'd dress up. My friend Holly had a ton of other costumes and Paul chose the convict. I'm glad he got in the spirit of dressing up:)

Karlee was a "nerd". I wouldn't call her a nerd because she looked too cute. Oh teenagers;) Of course Hudson had to be buzz. My cousin Amy shipped a costume from AZ for us to borrow. He got so many compliments even from the other "buzz"s at the party because his costume had wings.
