Christmas Came Early

Christmas came early this year for us. But just because we are traveling to Florida on Tuesday. So we decided to open presents last night from my in-laws! Let's just say they know me too well and I love love love my gifts from them!

The Stones

No not this kind!

I got another kidney stone, late Thursday night.
Stayed home from work on Friday.

and spent most of Friday and Saturday in bed
with this little one next to me
and this in hand (almost done)

Good News Though...
I did end up passing it Saturday morning! (yippee)
no hospital visit for me, this time!

Thanks for all you were thinking of me and
lifted up a prayer for me!

Thanks to my hubby, who stayed home with me
and took care of me :D

Olive Update

My baby got her first haircut.

I like it, I do.
But I think she looks all grown up
and not like my little pup anymore.
Plus I really like her all scruffy.
But she looks like a Westie & she is "Beautifuuul" :D

Master Makeover Update

So we finished our dresser! And I love the results. It such a pretty soft white. Now I am anxious for the rest of the room to be complete. The rug and curtains are on their way. I still need to order our bedding (i just might do that today) And then we need to paint.


I have to give all the credit to my wonderful husband because he is the one who sanded it down, primed, painted and sealed. (He's the Best)

I finally found/decided on a rug for our room!
I have been looking/wanting a gray and white striped rug for sometime now!
And I found one! And at a Great Price too! :D
I would have liked the gray to be lighter, but
fingers crossed it works out, anyways!

A Fight with the Covers

Lately I've been fighting with my covers and my alarm clock.
The temperature has dropped here and the nights come faster.
All of which makes me just want to jump into my covers that much more.

And the mornings...don't get me started.
I def. don't wanna get out from underneath the warmth of my covers and face the cold. I hope my body gets used to the new schedule of Daylight Savings & the cold temps. fast!

My neighbors must think I'm crazy because I already dress like it's winter out. But hey, if you can see your breath, your nose constantly runs, and your ears burn from the cold, it's okay in my book to wear a scarf, boots, gloves, & your winter coat to walk the dog!
