So Grateful!

Words can not express how much I love these 5 people in my life.  They are my world, they are what keeps me on the go and what marriage and motherhood are all about.  I am beyond blessed to be apart of this incredible family even on those days (which are quite frequent) when I feel like things are chaotic, noisy, and unmanageable.  Looking at this picture reminds me to take a step back and truly count my many blessings and name them one by one.  I'm looking at my everything!  I love you Eric, Gordon, Ruby, Dallin, & Lily!  Thank you for making me a wife and mother, I am so grateful!  

Cousin Time

This picture made me laugh.  Welcome to 2016, Ruby (3) and Cousin Lincoln (2) busy watching a show on their Kindle while the twins (18 months) look on from a distance.  Cheers to quality cousin time!  Ha!  (On a side note, most of the time they did spend together did not look like this but this did have to be captured).

Still Battling Post Twin Pregnancy

So I'm happy to say that I have lost all of the weight I gained with the twins and am back down to my normal weight.  However, my body has completely shifted...and not for the better let me tell you.  You know it's bad when a lady I've known now for a year and a half sees me this week and says, "Oh you are expecting again?"  Ugh it's this darn Diastasis Recti where my abs separated and it makes my stomach still bulge out.  

When I first started to get my body back after the twin pregnancy I could fit my entire hand through the wall of my abs.  Now it's down to about 2 fingers which is so much better.  I still have farther to go but it's nice to see it is healing.  In the meantime it would be nice if no one asks me about my weight, of if I'm pregnant. or if I want to have more kids.  Okay, I'm done.

Mama Ruby

This past Sunday in nursery at church there was a cute little girl that was sad and wanted her mommy so Ruby went right over to her and said, "Come here baby girl and sit on my lap."  Ruby calmed her right down and after a few minutes I asked baby Ryan if I could hold her and said, "NO!"  Ruby told me that baby Ryan just wanted her and that she was fine.  Oh it was super precious!

Rubism

Lately whenever Ruby makes a mistake she is pretty quick to apologize but when she says she is sorry she says,

"Mommy, I so sorry it's all my fart!"

To this is say, "Oh, it's all your fault?" and she replies, "Yes mommy it's all my fart!"

I can't tell you how many times I have almost laughed out loud.  Thank you Ruby for the smiles!

17 & 18 Month Old Dallin

Here is a little bit about me right now!

Sleeping patterns: I still go to bed around 7:30 but I am still sleeping through the night and wake up somewhere between 5:30 and 6:15.  As soon as I wake up though I start screaming.  My mommy pretends she doesn't hear me so I scream even louder and of course I wake up my sister Lily because I'm screaming so loud.  My mommy finally comes and grabs me out of my bed and brings her into bed with her for a few minutes before I start climbing all over the place and start fussing to get out of bed and go downstairs to get some milk.

Eating habits: I still love to eat, drink, and snack all day.  I especially like smoothies and Popsicles (anything frozen does the trick these days).  I also like eating pasta and pizza.

New discoveries I made:  Just in case you were wondering, I'M INTO EVERYTHING!!!  I mean literally everything.  I can CLIMB, I'm pretty good at it too.  When mom turns her back I climb up on the stools, on the table, up to the TV, up the stairs, up on the chairs, couches, you name it.  In fact I can even climb up part of the rock wall at the park and I can climb up the whole ladder at the park as well.  It's just so fun.  I have also discovered that I LOVE coloring but not just on paper but on the table, floor, and any other place I can think of.

My accomplishments: I'm still getting more teeth in and like I mentioned earlier I'm climbing and getting into everything.  I also love to wave and blow really loud kisses to everyone that passes by.  I can also understand a lot not too.  When my mommy asks me to do something I can usually follow her directions.

Places I went: I go to the gym with my mommy and Lily almost everyday.  We also make a weekly Costco shopping trip along with other errands with mommy.  I also like to go to Ms. Anne's house to pick up Ruby 3 days a week from school.  It's so fun to play in the sand box there.  I also like going to Gordon's soccer practice and his games.  I even try to run out on the field when he is playing.

New discoveries I made:  I'm walking everybody, I'm walking!!!  Now that I'm walking I'm on the go.  I am trying to keep up with Dallin and we have a fun time following and chasing each other all over the place.

Lily & Charlie Brown

One of our sweet friends delivered cookies and this little Charlie Brown the day before Halloween.  Lily instantly fell in love with Charlie Brown and loves to press the button on his foot to make it dance and play a song.  It's pretty funny to watch her laugh and smile.  If only the other kids would let her just sit like this and play without disturbing or stealing her toy... in a perfect world!
