Lenora is four! This little girl isn't one for many words as you can see from the birthday questions she answered for me:

What is your favorite dessert? Brownies.
What is a food that makes you want to puke? Ewww! Onions, like purple ones. Those ones are yucky.

She's like my little onion child - she has so many layers! She can be shy, reserved, and refuse to say prayers when asked, but when no one's watching she dances, and sings, plays, and prays like you wouldn't believe. She mostly wears a fairly serious look, but if you catch her in the right mood, she has the most genuine and infectious laugh you've ever heard! Often I'll overhear her saying something and think to myself, "Where did she come up with that?!?"
Lenora finally got to start Sunbeams this year! Since she missed the cutoff last year by 12 days it's been a long wait. She was so excited! She walked right in to class with her new Book of Mormon and sat down without a backward glance.
Lenora loves to read and loves going to the library. Some of her favorite books are Look and Find books, Little Criter, Peppa Pig, the Froggie series, and Otis books. We were SO sad to leave the amazing library in Boone, but our new library has some wonderful children's programs that the kids really enjoy!
Lenora isn't always one for independent play. As soon as the girls leave for school she's asking me, "What can I do?" She's much happier to play with her siblings! She does love puzzles and playing games. We usually play at least one game during Orson's nap time everyday. While I'm so sick of every game we own, I cherish this quiet time in the afternoons with just her.
Lenora still says Tabby is her best friend which make my heart happy. While we were in Utah we were able to see the Farrells! These two picked up right where they left off...
But, Lenora has also made several friends here in Kentucky. She even wanted to have a birthday party! This was her first friend party, and she has been anxiously planning it for months. She had a Trolls party complete with "cupcakes and rainbows" to eat, a Trolls hair craft, a lots of playing with friends. It was simple and so perfect for Lenora!
We love you Lenora! You are such a joy to have in our family! Four will be a great year for you.
