Winter Forest School! 

Valentine's Party

One day poor Conrad found some cinnamon oil I'd used to scent pinecones at Christmas. The bottle still had a seal on it and everything, but he managed to get some on his hands. He wiped his face and eye and the poor little guy was miserable. His whole face was burning and irritated, and there was really nothing we could do for him but wait it out. That was a tough lesson! 

Thanksgiving Point with Gram and Grandpa!

One Saturday we had nothing to do, so we drove out to Utah Lake and had a wonderful time exploring. 

Some of the kids got to attend a UVU basketball game with Michael. 

Last but not least, cute little boys. These two are the best!

Fun with the Farrells

 

The middle of February we kept our annual tradition of visiting the Farrell's in their winter wonderland. Since we had so little snow here this year, it was a blast to enjoy all the snow at their home. We skated, cross country skied, and of course the kids made up a hilarious skit. 

Heather and I escaped for our very own ski adventure one day. The snow was SO deep and unpacked which made for exhausting work. But we had such a good time!

The Farrells also introduced my kids to the musical Wicked. They became obsessed and continued to sing it daily for over a month. 

Then just a few weeks ago when the Farrells were ready to be done with snow and enjoy spring, they came down to visit us! We went to the children's museum at Thanksgiving Point and visited the Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork. 

We're so blessed to have the Farrells as forever friend, even when we live in different states. 

Kids are Weird

 Lenora is normally such a calm, sweet girl. But every once in a while, she gets in what the kids call "her moods." Soon she's some crazy little thing that can't stop laughing. In one of her moods recently she created this skit... 

CC: "Hey Babe. Who do you choose? The man with the weird pants, or this? (Fake ripping noise) 

Then a few days later, after the kids rewatched the video, Conrad decided to show us his version of the skit.... 

CC: Hey! How you doing? Or this (fake ripping noise)
