Snow Day Snow Day Snow Day

I know all of you in Utah have had a lot of snow for a good month or so, but here in Spring Hill, Tennessee it is Dec. 12th and we woke up to snow flurries today. Of course that means no school. So we pulled out the snow pants because the kids were so excited. They spent a good

1 1/2 hour out there. For the rest of the day we watched Christmas shows and made Gingerbread houses.

Even Max got out in the cold for some snow fun!

Our next door neighbor, Emma, comes over on school mornings after her Mother and older brothers have left. Her Grandmother was visiting them this week and the day she left the Grandma brought me over this beautiful Poinsetta plant as a Thank you. I have never seen such a great big one. It is beautiful and so nice.

Daniel was so adorable. He wanted to put together the Christmas village so I let him. He played with the people and horse carriage so cute I couldn't resist taking his picture.

We went to our library on Thursday night and it so happened that the Nashville Preditors hockey team were signing autographs. Cameron had just done a music program about team work and he pretended to be a Nashville Preditor. So we went and stood in line. I was feeling bad that I didn't have a camera, but the lady in front of us was Sister Maples from our ward. She took a picture of the boys for us. Then Cameron just happended to say, "Do you have any tickets?" They asked how many and we got 5 tickets for the Saturdays game.

It was in downtown Nashville, they had just turned on the Christmas lights. So we put on our coats and headed to the game.

It was a lot of fun !!! They showed our family on the big screen in the middle. I wish I would have taken a picture of that. We felt famous according the Cameron.

Getting ready for Christmas

We set up our Christmas tree and visited Santa. In the Santa

picture you can see how big Daniel is. At least I notice. Out of the

Three kids he has changed the most because he has grown up so much.

Happy Birthday Daniel

Daniel had a birthday party at Jump Zone. He had six of his friends

come and enjoy bouncing around at the zone. He turned six and grew about 6 inches.

He is a tall little man.

Spring Hill ward building

Here is an update on our new church building that is just

around the corner from our house.

Today they finished with the shingles, now they are working

inside. We can hardly wait!!!

Thanksgiving Kindergarten Program

This is Daniel's Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Bennett. Daniel was an Indian Man for his program. Unfortunatly he stood behind Indian feathers the whole program so we didn't get very many good pictures of him. But when we did get a glimse he was singing whole heartedly.

Afterwards we went to McDonalds for some Dipped

cones.

Halloween

The best activity on Halloween weekend was the

Grey Ghost 5k run. It is called the Grey Ghost because

of General Hood who slept while prisoners from the North excaped

one night. The race took place at Oaklawn plantation where the civil war of

was fought. They think of General Hood as our Grey Ghost. The

run was to raise money for cancer research.

This is Gabe, Cameron's friend from last year. His mother started this 5k run last year because Gabe survived Cancer and she wanted to do something good for the community in return. Last year there wasn't very many. This year there was so many more people who came to participate. It was so much fun. Lindsay ran the 5k and then Cameron and Daniel ran the 1mile Goblin Gallop. They all did really good and had a lot of fun.

Visit to the Corn Maze

We missed the Perry Corn Maze so we found one out here to go to. They had a cornmaze and a cotton maze. The cotton was so awesome to see.

This one turned out to me one of my Favorites!!

Cameron's 3rd grade music program

This year Longview elementary's

theme is TEAM(Together Everyone Achieves More)

So Cameron's music program was about team sports.

He was a Nashville Preditor playing hockey.

We went to the Ham festival in Spring Hill.

The kids did an obstacle race and other games.

They had a petting zoo and we saw Piglet races. Hillary Rod"ham"

Was fighting to get out first and of course she won the race. With

"Squilly" Nielsen close behind.

Makayla and Cameron thought they would fight it out in the ring.

Makayla first takes Cameron down, but he won't be defited and comes at her in the

FACE!!

After using all that energy we went to refuel at the food court area.
