Groundbreaking ceremony

As a family we attended our new church building ground breaking. It is less then a mile from our house and in our neighborhood. We could actually walk there!
The boys helped putting up the tent to go over the refreshment table. Makayla and Cameron sang in the children's choir. They sang "I belong to the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints"

Our stake president is the man in the middle and our Bishop is the man on his left side.

This is what it will look like. The kids have to go see it everyday. We are excited.

Happy 4th of July

Visit to U.S. Space & Rocket center

Do you remember that great movie, Space Camp, back in the 80's. Well it took place here at the Huntsville, AL space center. The space museum was really great. They also had a traveling exhibit of Star Wars. So we spent the day there and learned lots of fun and scientific stuff. The kids put together a robot and then hooked it up to make it move. It worked!
Right as we walked in they took this great family photo. Like our matching 4th of July shirts. Had to keep up with the tradition, even clear out here in Tennessee.

Fishing

Cameron is a Wolf in the cub scout program. He needed to learn about fishing, so we took the kids to Williamsport fishing lakes. He had to bait his own line
Then after 41/2 hours of fishing he pulled one it.

A catfish that was 15 1/2 inches long
