Megan is 9 months old!

Megan has been such a blessing to our family! We feel like she is really a miracle in our lives. I am truely grateful that when she was born even though she was so little she was healthy. At her 9 month appointment last week she weighed 14 lbs 14 oz which is in the 3% for her age (which is actually the first time she has been on the charts for weight). She was 26 inches long which is the in the 7%. She is so much fun and such a good baby. She loves her brother and scoots all around trying to follow him. She loves someone to hold her hand and she loves to be around people. We love you little Meg!

It would not be normal if Jason's eyes were open. Haha. Connor LOVES to be outside especially with his dad. Megan was crying inside so we bundled her up so she could watch too.

I am so thankful for this time of year! I love it! I love all the smells, get togethers with family and friends, shopping for gifts, wrapping, baking, songs, lights, decorations and most important celebrating our Savior's birth. I am so thankful to have the gospel in my life. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season!

Carving Pumpkins

I love Halloween! Tonight we carved some pumpkins. It was a lot of fun. At first Connor was not to sure about putting his hands in the pumpkins to pull out all the seeds, but then he loved it! Also a couple of these pictures are from last week at the pumpkin patch.Doesn't he look excited!

This was like one minute later - Meg was so tired!

My Hunter!

In September (I know I am a slacker) Jason was gone for 9 days on his bow hunt up by Flaming Gorge. We really missed him! He loves hunting and like everything else he puts 100% of his effort into it! He scouted a lot this summer and placed camera's up where he would be hunting and had pictures of lots of big elk and also a lot of bears too. The second to last day of his hunt I get this text from Jason:

After 7 days, 77 miles of hiking, 5300 ft in elevation change, 3 bear invasions at camp, 7 close calls with awesome bulls but no cigar - shot a spike last night! Here is a picture.

He was with some good friends that love hunting just as much as he does! Thanks honey for providing us with some good meat! We are always glad when you come home safely!

He was kind of hoping for an elk more like one of these but by the end of the trip he decided to stop being picky and just "bring home the bacon" or elk in this case. He worked way hard for it!!!

FALL

I love fall!!! Today I went to Gardner Village and it was so fun. Here a few of the pictures we took.

We have had such a great summer! It has been busy and it has gone fast but it has been fun. Last month by good friend Janette was in town for her baby shower and it was nice to see some good friends.
Then my mom and I went to St George to visit my grandparents and to see my cousin DeAnna and her mom. It was a really quick trip but it was so nice to spend some time with them!
Also Connor got a bike! WOW! He looks so big on it. Little Meg is growing so fast. She is now 5 months old and smiles like crazy! She has also been rolling over for a month now. She is so much fun!

June 2009

I have been meaning to post pictures of Megan's room. Jason worked so hard while I was on bed rest finishing the family room in our basement and working on Megan's room. Jason is such a hard worker and always does such a great job! Thanks honey for all you do!

Megan's blessing

On June 7th we blessed Megan. It was such a special day! Thanks to our families who give us so much support. Here are some pictures. She is starting to smile and it's so fun!! The last picture is the day before her blessing. We were trying to get her to smile.

7 years later...

Monday (June 1st) is our 7 year anniversary. It is hard to believe we have been married that long. It has been a great 7 years and I am SO thankful that I have been able to spend it with my best friend! Jason is such a great husband. I am so blessed to have him! Thanks honey for all you do for me and the kids. I love you so much!!!

Megan who is almost 3 months old
Lots of fun times and lots of opportunities to grow as a family...

What we've been up to...

It is hard to believe Megan was a month old on Saturday. It sure has gone fast! She is a great little baby. She doesn't cry very much just groans a lot. She has reflux so we have her on some medicine now and I'm not sure that it is working. Connor has been so great with her and if she is crying a little bit he will say, "it's ok Meg" and give her his blanket. This is a big deal because he loves his blanket!

We had a great Easter. The Easter Bunny brought Connor a kite. He was so excited. We flew it at a park near our house. I haven't flown a kite in a long time and it was so much fun. I think Jason and I liked it as much as Connor did.
