33 weeks pregnant

I am now 34.5 weeks pregnant, looking forward to meeting this baby of ours. It will be here before I know it. We are still working on names, it's so difficult.
The baby has been so active, it was so lazy for a while and now it's making up for it. The kids are excited for the baby, Grayson keep coming up names, the latest one today was Ren. Don't think we will be using that one.
My mom is coming up for a visit in a couple of weeks, she will be able to help me get read for the babe to come, and then Jeremy's mom is coming up for Christmas to be here for the kids when the baby comes. Looking forward to having the help and the company.


This is a video of Gray at gymnastics, he is starting to get more confident and has even started teaching himself how to do cartwheels. His next session starts on Monday. It's nice to have found something he really enjoys.

Cassidy turned 18 months a couple of days ago. She had her shots and got weighted and measures. She is a bit over 25 lbs ( a little under the 50%) and 33.5 inches tall ( 90%). She tall and lean. It makes me realize how big Grayson was at this age. He was this tall at 12 months old, and is still a big kid. 42lbs and a little over 3 foot 6 inches. Pretty tall for an almost 3 and a half year old.
Cassidy is still not sleeping through the night. We are looking at putting Grayson in the basement bedroom and Jeremy and I moving back up stairs. I'm tired of climbing the stairs numerous times a night. Not quite sure what her problem is. Oh well one day it will be over.

Grayson is enjoying pre school very much. And has now after three weeks,he is finally participating in gymnastics rather than standing beside his teacher with his finger in his mouth. Last week was the first time. I was so proud of him for stepping out of his comfort zone. I know he will enjoy it even more now.Grayson's first day of preschool

I am doing well for the most part with this pregnancy. I am 29.5 weeks, it feel so fast. My legs are getting worse with my veins and my hip seem to be bothering me even more these day, But at least I'm not barfing. I would take all this any day over having morning sickness.

We are having a difficult time with names. It seem the more children you have the harder it is. we don't know what we are having so we need to be prepared for both genders. I'm always open for ideas. Nothing to weird or to common. Maybe that's why its been hard. I'm to picky.28 weeks

Jeremy is doing well. He found out last week that the 6 month position he has had as camp director for camp Wapiti has now turned into a full time position for him. We are both very happy to have that concern gone. The only difficult thing about it, is that we had to leave our church we have been attending for the past 4 years here and are now going to the church that is affiliated with the camp.It's always difficult starting fresh again. oh well I'm sure it will be fine. We are just so thankful for Jeremy to still have a job, that's what matters most.

The wedding

The wedding last weekend was great. the weather was perfect for an outdoor wedding. The kids were tired and weren't eating anything but animal crackers. So they were getting a little cranky. I did the hair for Alison, my now sister in law and her maid of honour and my own and was pleased at how everything turned out. Alison looked beautiful in her dress.
I some how lost my camera in red deer so I have no pictures of my own, so sad. But I did get a few on Alison's camera.
My dad and step mom cam to Red deer to look after the kids the night of the wedding. How nice that was.The next morning we took them out for breakfast as a thank you. Grayson was complaining about not feeling well and fell asleep in the booth at the restaurant. We left right after breakfast and headed home to GP. No more than 10 minutes into the ride Gray started barfing in the car. Thankfully I had a bag for him. It had a hole in the bottom like all Safeway bags seen to have, but it was better than nothing. Jeremy speed around trying to find somewhere to stop in a residential area. That's when we got flagged down by a cop in a speed trap to pull over. CRAP! all I wanted was to get Gray out of the car and help him. Thankfully the guy realized what was going on and let us go with a warning. I don't even know how fast Jer was going in the playground zone. We stopped at the park, got Gray cleaned up and gave him some gravol. Then off we went on our way home. Cassidy slept through the whole thing. The kids were so over tired and weren't eating very much at all and that's why I think Gray got sick. He slept most of the way home. That gravol mad him like a zombie, even when he was awake he looked totally out of it. Needless to say it was a long drive home and we were all glad it was over when we pulled into the drive way.
Our next adventure will be next Saturday when Gray, Cassidy and I fly to Calgary for 9 days. Jeremy is going on a week long hunting trip so rather than staying home lone I thought being with Family would be better. I can always us the help with the kids especially at night with bed time and all. Looking forward to that and looking forward to the meat Jeremy hopefully brings home.

Summer time

I don't seem to doing so well at keeping my blog up to date. Lots has happened in the past however many months. Our family spent 5 weeks out at Camp Wapiti bible camp, this is the camp Jeremy is director for. The kids and I had a great time for the most part. Some days were tough when it rained. Trying to find enough things to do inside to entertain the kids became a challenge. When the rain did stop Gray would want to go outside and so that meant Cassidy and I went to. Cassidy wasn't walking until the last two weeks of camp, so most of her pants are stained with mud in the knees. that little girl loves to get dirty. She would purposely put dirt in her hair. Mostly because she would get a reaction from people, and she loves to make people laugh. Gray and Cassidy kind of became the camps mascots for the summer. They were loved by all the staff, and the kids. Grayson really came out of his shy shell and Cassidy had more attention than she knew what to do with. We enjoyed our time out there, but I was happy to be home and get things back to some sort of routine.

Grayson is going to pre school this fall and he is looking forward to it. I think it will also help him with his shyness. It's only 4 hours a week, but I think that will be plenty for him. He is one smart little boy if I do say so myself. He has an amazing memory, and is great with numbers. He has a little school book with activity in it, and it blows me away what he can do in it. A crazy thing happened at Safeway the other day, the kids and I were doing some shopping and on the loud speaker a lady comes on paging someone and says about 6 or 7 #'s. The next thing I know Grayson is saying the number with her. The lady beside me looked at him with complete amazement as did I. Gray just laughed. Who knows if he had heard the number once already that day or if he was remembering them from another day. Regardless, it was kind of freaky.
Cassidy finally started walking at 15 and a half months old. I thought she would never walk. Grayson walk a half a year before her. I know every kid is different, I guess I just thought walking at 10 months was the norm. I guess it is if you have nothing else to compare it to. She is also sporting the hockey player smile with a chipped front tooth. Grayson was carrying her around, I let him because it seemed harmless. She was only a half foot off the ground and she seemed to be having a great time. The next thing I knew Grayson tripped and hey both came down onto the kitchen floor. Grayson on top of Cassidy. Cassidy's tooth hit the ground and snap. I thought she bit her lip or tongue. Poor thing was shaking in pain. That's when i noticed a 1/4 of her tooth was missing. I took her to dentist the next day and she is fine. It doesn't seem to bother her at all. It might take me sometime to get use to it, but I have 5 or 6 years until it falls out and her permanent one comes in. She reminds me of Loyd off of dumb and dumber. All she is missing is the bowl cut.

I am half way through my pregnancy now. It's going by so fast again. I'm feeling pretty good and I'm loving the kicks and my big belly. I know I will have a huge belly this time round just like every time. I guess I just carry huge. The baby seem to be doing well. I have an ultra sound next week. Looking forward to that. Grayson likes my belly too, he talks about the baby all the time and comes up with the most unusual names for it. The only bad thing so far about this pregnancy are my veins in my leg. They have gotten worse each time round. I have way more of them, and they KILL. I have a support sock that I wear, but it only seem to help a little bit. My Dr. is going to get me into the vain clinic after this baby is born to have them dealt with. I can't wait. I look like I have a 80 year old leg covered in bulging veins. I wish my legs would tan more so they wouldn't be so obvious.13 weeks

19 weeks

Jeremys brother is getting married next weekend in Red Deer, and we are all in the wedding party. Grayson and Jer will be in tuxedos and Cassidy and I in our flower girl/bridesmaid dresses. Grayson is pulling Cassidy down the aisle in a wagon. They will be so cute. Cassidy tried her dress on the other day and came out to show her daddy and Gray. You could tell she felt to pretty as she swayed in it. Gray thought she looked pretty to and asked her to dance with him. This guy love it when Cassidy or I wear dresses. It should be a great and busy weekend next week I will try and have the picture up as soon as I can.

It has been awhile. I find I am not on the computer much these days. I don't go on when the kids are awake because it takes time away from them and once they go to bed at 7:00pm I'm ready for bed myself. This growing a human being is hard work, I'm exhaust. I am 10 and a half weeks now and things seem to be going well. I have no morning sickness at all which is a first, and I love it of course. I am definitely starting to see my tummy grow now, but I'm at the awkward stage with clothes. My normal clothes are getting to tight in the tummy, but maternity clothes are still to big. I have my first ultra sound on Friday to check my dates, even though I pretty sure the due date is Dec.30.
The kids are doing well, It's neat that Grayson understands more this pregnancy that I have a baby in my tummy and he is going to be a big brother again. The other day he randomly asked me how the baby was going to get out of my tummy. I thought for a moment thinking of what I could tell him and then decided the truth would be the best, after all in is a natural thing. He then asked me how I was going to pee. I told him the Dr. will fix me after. I kept in simple and he excepted the answer with his innocent mind. I have not had any more question since. I dreading when he asks me how the baby got in there. I hope he's much older when that question pops up.
We have been spending a bit of time out at the camp that Jeremy works for. We will be living out there as of June 26. Grayson is so excited. He loves it out there as we all do, it's beautiful. Cassidy is a little girl who love to get messy and plays so well in the dirt. I just hope she is walking by that time. It would be so much easier if I don't have to carry her around. Also her poor little knees won't get so banged up.
That life in a nut shell right now. I will put some belly pictures up in a few weeks or so. As for now here are a few from the past little bit.

A new toy for his birthday

Grayson turned Three yesterday and we had a Nascar themed party for him today at the pool. He had a blast. Grayson is half giant, he is a little over 3 foot 5.5 and weights 40 lbs. In his picture you can see he has huge feet. He is in a size 11. I'm thinking he will start to slow down a bit with his growing as he gets older,but you never know.

He started soccer last week. Poor kid was scared out of his mind. He loves soccer when we play at home but last week at his game he just froze. He doesn't do well in big groups of people he doesn't know. Maybe this week he will feel a bit more comfortable. He is one of the youngest on his team and the tallest. People usually think he is older that he really is and expect much more from him. Some times I wish he would wear a button that says his age.( how dorky would that be, poor kid would probably get beat up for that)

Over all Grayson is doing great and is still a very loud,active boy with a very sensitive side to him.
Happy 3rd birthday my boy. Mom and Dad love you so much.
