HaLLoWeeN!!!

This year the rule was homemade costumes. I think we did pretty good!!!

Abby loves to go to school! She loves to learn and she is super excited to have a great teacher and her best friend in class with her!

Preschool graduation

Preschool graduation. What an odd celebration. I mean on the one hand it is only preschool, and why do people feel a need to celebrate a child graduating from preschool? Then there is the flip side, the passing of a time in life that is so precious!! Needless to say, watching my baby graduate from preschool was an emotional event for me. It means the start of kindergarten and real school. It means that I will never go back to having kids at home with me for full days at a time. I wonder if it is harder to let them graduate from preschool or high school?? Seems to me preschool is the real heart breaker.

Because when faces are as cute as this...letting them grow up is downright hard...

Kalli's project

Kalli worked really hard on putting together her habitat for the macaw she made. She had to make everything 3D and it had to include lots of different elements.

She had to have the animal itself, a form of shelter, babies, food source, and a preditor. (You can just barely make out the orange snake on the bottom)

She did a great job!

Happy Birthday Abby!!!

My sweet Abigail is turning 7 today!! So, for her birthday party we had a "tea" party. She invited lots of little friends and they all had so much fun!

It isn't a Nor'easter...but shoot this is Texas!!

I can't believe that this is the 3rd snow storm this winter! This one, however, is by far the prettiest snow we've had. Unfortunately by tomorrow morning most of it will have turned to ice. So, for today we are going to bake some cookies and enjoy the view! I love all the mature trees behind our house!!
