Preschool graduation
Preschool graduation. What an odd celebration. I mean on the one hand it is only preschool, and why do people feel a need to celebrate a child graduating from preschool? Then there is the flip side, the passing of a time in life that is so precious!! Needless to say, watching my baby graduate from preschool was an emotional event for me. It means the start of kindergarten and real school. It means that I will never go back to having kids at home with me for full days at a time. I wonder if it is harder to let them graduate from preschool or high school?? Seems to me preschool is the real heart breaker.
Because when faces are as cute as this...letting them grow up is downright hard...

I am so lame.....
Alright I realize it has been almost 2 months since I last posted anything...what can I say other than I'm lame!!!
My procrastination all started back in November (duh), when I got to thinking about the whole idea of being grateful. I had been posting about the little things that I was grateful for instead of the big things. The more I thought about it the more I realized that yeah, the little things are nice and I am grateful for them, but without the big things in life...the little ones wouldn't matter so much. I started thinking about my girls. I have three beautiful girls that are all healthy, happy, fun, loving, imaginative, good, and most of all mine! I have a great husband who supports me not only financially, but emotionally, physically, and spiritually. I thought a lot about being grateful for his job as well. He had a few conversations with his boss after the last round of layoffs, and had his boss not moved him to where he is now, he definitely would have lost his job. I am so grateful he still has a job that he loves and that is able to allow me to stay home. So, to sum it all up, while the little things in life are nice, it is the big ones that really make me happy and grateful....
