Maybe it's time for a real one...

22 Days of Thankfulness!

We decided to write down one thing each day we were thankful for from Nov 1^st – Thanksgiving. On the first day we sat down and each made on link in the chain, but as the day went on the boys kept coming up wanting to add things that they were thankful for – I wasn’t about to tell them no. By 

Thanksgiving morning our thankfulness chain circled our kitchen and living room. We are blessed to have such a family with such thankful hearts.

Here are a few of the things that were shared…

My brother – Jacoby

For daddy coming home for lunch – Lexen

All of the things I take for granted each day – Mom

For having the best boys ever – Dad

Dinner – Lexen

God making all of the planets – Jacoby

Health – Mom

Being able to help patients – Dad

Thankful that our stairs aren’t broken – Jacoby

Mommy staying home with us all day – Lexen

Unconditional love – Mom

A loving, caring wife - Dad

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Happy Halloween Y’All

Here’s our little cowboy and rodeo clown! The boys had fun dressing up this year. Grandma Natalie joined us as we walked around the mall and enjoyed all of the other children all dressed up. Then, when we got home daddy went trick or treating with us. Jacoby preferred to do the whole trick or treating thing in reverse – meaning he would ring the doorbell, say trick or treat and hand the person some of his candy. Everyone was very puzzled by this act of kindness, but Jacoby has such a caring heart that he can’t help but share what he has!

So, I know your next thought… What did you do with all of that candy since you don’t eat it? Well we decided to re-gift it. We came home and turned on our porch light. Unlike most gifts that are re-gifted these ones were gladly accepted.
