Christmas 2013

 Christmas this year was a success!  Santa definitely delivered this year!

The girls left a plate of cookies, banana, black berries, and a cup of milk for Santa along with a note.  Santa was nice enough to write back to them even though he was very busy that night. He said he gave the reindeer the banana and they loved it! Who knew reindeer loved bananas!

 The stockings were stuff to the brim. Even left books and coloring books for them.

 Brylee got this cool Minion hat.  One of the elves must of knitted it for her since it was a homemade hat.  Pretty cool huh?

 Natalee had fun digging into her stocking too!

 The girls got a spring in their stocking.  They had to go on a hunt looking for what it must belong to.  I love Kenadee's face since she just figured it out.

 They found it outside...it was a trampoline!  Thanks Nana, Grandpa, Grandma Patty, Grandpa Steve, and Mom and Dad.  It was a expensive one so thanks for all those that contributed!

 Natalee got this cute "Rockin' Elmo" from Santa. He sings and plays music and Natalee fell in love with it right away. She was dancing and and shaking her booty to it! It was SO cute!

 Kenadee got the binoculars that she wanted.

 Nana got a new game that she asked for.

 And this is the whole reason I still blog. Here are the books from the blog I made this year. Every time I get over whelmed and tired of blogging I take a look at the books and it is such a reminder of why I still do it.  This will be a treasure for them when they are older. They turned out beautifully! It was fun listening to the girls as they were flipping through the book giggling and saying, "Do you remember that, that was so fun!"

And the Christmas breakfast the girls asked for...reindeer pancakes!  Merry Christmas Haws family! We love you all! We are so grateful to be able to celebrate the birth of our Savior and to be together a family to do it.  We are so grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ and our lives have been blessed because of it. 

Christmas Eve 2013

 Christmas started off with a knock at our door.  There was a gift left on our door step with a note attached.  It was a letter from Jasper, our elf.  It told them that they have been good this year but they can always work harder and being more kind to each other.  To also remember the true reason why we celebrate Christmas. It was time for him to fly back to the North Pole to help Santa load his sleigh so he was saying goodbye to them. The girls were so sad to see him leave.

 The gift was a game to play with the family that night.

 We did the 12 days of Christmas with the girls this year.  And one of the days they got their very own hot coco mug. So this night we got some delicious hot chocolate.

 We held our Christmas eve dinner in our living room. That's right, we had a picnic! The kids loved it! We had a delicious ham dinner with homemade rolls. During dinner we watched a video of Christ and his life.

 After dinner we played the new "To Bethlehem" game. It was lots of fun. In this game it ask you to do silly things. One thing that Kenadee had to do was sit on Brylee's lap.

Dad had to wear his socks on his hands until he rolled a 4.  We had lots of laughs! 

Kenadee was pulling the girls around on Santa's sleigh.  Notice the pillowcase full of toys.  I love when the girls use their imagination!

Sand Dunes Tripe Dec 2013

 The girls got an early Christmas present this year...their new riding helmets.  They were SO excited.  After opening their gifts they didn't take them off until bedtime.  They were watching tv just like this.  It was too funny!  Well they got their riding helmets early since Dad and Kenadee were going to the sand dunes that weekend.  They had a blast!

Kenadee is getting more confident in her riding. She is becoming a great rider.

 Maddi, Shayde, and Kenadee. The girls had fun rolling down the hills of sand. Kenadee was cleaning sad out of her ears days after getting home from their trip.

Busy Month of December

December was such a busy month for us.  We got home from Mesa the day this picture was taken. The girls got these letters in the mail from Santa.  We were trying to get Brylee to smile for one second while we took one picture but she was still so over tired that she just cried.  Poor baby.  Thanks Santa for taking the time to write the girls a letter.

It didn't take long for her to pass out.  She was a tired girl!

Once the decorations started going on the tree she perked up and wanted to participate.

And the star was placed on the tree by Kenadee this year.

My grandma passed away in December. It was really hard since she went pretty quickly.  Here she is celebrating her 69th birthday just the month before.  We love and miss you grandma! 

I made this cute cupcakes for our ward party.

We took the girls to go and see the large gingerbread display here in Prescott.  We love doing this every year. We are amazed every time with what people come up with each year. And this year was no different.

Brylee had a hard time not touching the displays.  This little girls has such a sweet tooth that she wanted to  taste test every display.

They also had some antique electric train that the girls had fun watching.

We had Nana and Grandpa over for Sunday dinner this month.  Here is Nana teaching the girls how to make her amazing fudge.

Kenadee had her very first band recital.  She is doing amazing. During her parent/teacher conference with her band teacher she had so many great things to say about Kenadee.  She said she wished all her students were just like Kenadee. So proud of you K!
