Kenadee Turns 11!!

Kenadee turns 11!!!  She woke up to a birthday banner, plate of pancakes, whipped cream, and birthday candles.

 The girls were happy to share her birthday breakfast!

We like to take our kids to their favorite restaurant on their birthday and Kenadee requested Texas Roadhouse.  Of course we had to embarrass her by making her very own birthday crown.  She told me, "Mom, this is so embarrassing!"  As long as I can get away with embarrassing my kids I will continue to do it!  People at the restaurant were wishing her a happy birthday. 

 And I tied this balloon to the back of her belt loop.

 And she got to ride the birthday saddle while the staff sang to her and said, "Yee Ha!"

We love our Kenadee and so happy she came to our family 11 years ago!

Tonto Natural Bridge

 After we left Sedona, our next stop was to visit Granpa in Steve in Payson.  Between Sedona and Payson is Tonto Natural Bridge so I decided to take the girls on a hike to view the natural bridge that had formed.  

 The girls had a great time exploring the small caves and climbing over the formation of rocks.

Despite us being in our flip flops the girls did awesome hiking in and out of the natural bridge.  These girls are some tough cookies!

Our Girls Trip To Sedona!

 I took the girls to Sedona for a few days while dad was on his High Adventure camp out with the Boy Scouts.  The girls wanted to do a lot of swimming so that is what we did!

 Kenadee is such a good big sister playing with her sisters.

Natalee has gotten more comfortable swimming over the summer and this trip was perfect for her to get a lot exposure to the water. 

 At the beginning of the trip she would not let go of me and by the time we left she was jumping off the edge into the water and swimming from one end of the pool to the other.  Way to go our brave Nat!

 I am having a hard time realizing that this little girl isn't little any more.  She is growing up into such a beautiful young lady and I am so proud of her!  I love you my Kenny! (She hates us calling her that, ha!)

 I took the girls to an orchard where you can pick your own fruit right off the trees in Cornville.  It was a short drive from Sedona.  We had to cross this creek to get there and everything was so green and the water was so clear.  It was so beautiful!

Happy Birthday America!

We participated in the annual Kiddie Parade in downtown Prescott.  The kids look forward in dressing up their bikes and riding in the parade.  Here is our whole group of kids. As we got there it started sprinkling, but they kids didn't mind one bit.

 After they finish the parade route they guide the kids into the courthouse grounds and give them an ice cream sandwich.  The girls love this part!  Avery and Natalee enjoying their ice cream!

 We came across a lady that had made this sign to hold during the parade.  I found so much truth to it I asked her if we can borrow it to get a picture. 

 After the parade we took the kids swimming.  Of course dad did lots of tricks with the kids.  He is such a good daddy!

And grandpa was right there too enjoying his grandkids! 

 The next day the kids participated in the parade at our church along with a pancake breakfast.  

 I couldn't get a picture of Natalee looking since she was concentrating too hard!

 That evening we went over to the Burks house where they have such an awesome property for kids to run around and play.  These three girls have so much fun together!

All ready for the fireworks!  We love when family comes to visit us for the 4th of July!  Happy birthday America!
