I Need Help!

In the hospital, the nurses said Elli has a strong sucking reflex and she probably sucked her thumb in the womb. So I have been trying my hardest to get her to take a pacifier, but no luck. She thinks it's a fun game. She has been sucking her wrist, her sleeves and fist...and today I walked in on this---she is sucking her thumb!! What do I do? Any suggestions out there?!

All Dressed Up, Yet Tired

Elli is all dressed up to go to church (thank you Staci for the cute outfit), but extremely tired. She normally takes a 4 hour nap in the morning and didn't like that our church switched from Friday evenings to Sunday mornings during her nap.

First Play Date

Friday Elliana had her first play date with Finn. They pretty much stared at each other, but their moms had fun drinking tea and eating chocolate pie. fyi, the second pic is right before a diaper explosion which required a new outfit.

Smiles and Bumbo Seat

Lately Elliana has been an awesome napper! When she has napped well, she is one fun little girl with tons of smiles. We have also started trying out different activities with her. We put her in this bumbo seat and it cracked us up! I cannot tell if she likes or dislikes it, maybe she is paranoid because her parents are laughing.

Lunch with Dad

Today we met Paul for lunch. I thought it looked so wintry outside and got her dressed for the artic. But had to take it all off, when I realized it was really nice today! It's so fun to see Paul during the middle of the day! Oh I also have to brag on her, last night she slept 10 hours! Yes, she is a sleeper like her parents, but talk about jumping out of bed when I realized what time it was!

New Play Area

Last week I introduced Elliana to a little play area I got at a garage sale. She was hilarious! Her legs and arms kept flailing because she was so excited and she loved making faces in the mirror because the face did it right back to her. I was silly to not get it on video. But she still gets so excited when she plays in it!

Six Years!!

Paul and I have been married 6 years! Marriage definitely gets better as the years go by! Paul is above and beyond what I could imagine as a husband and feel so blessed that God brought us together. Pictured above is after we got back from Texas de Brazil and we were extremely full!

Cross Country Skiing with the Rios'

We got to spend the weekend with the Rios and of course had a great time. We went cross country skiing today and enjoyed the exercise and beauty.

Ski Week with the Houges

Paul's bro, John and family, Sue, Luke, Joel and Greta came out to visit for a week. we had sooo much fun! we were in Denver for 2 days where the kids toured Hammonds Candy Factory and went to the park numerous times. Then we headed to the mountains. The kids did awesome at ski lessons and Luke was hitting the blue runs by the end of the week. It was so fun to see them love skiing! New Years was spent at Keystone watching fireworks, played apples to apples, we had a tea party for the kiddos, toured a gold mine and the list goes on. It was so fun that Elliana got to meet her cousins and we got to spend a week with the Houges.
