Big rain!

Today we had Cooper and Grady over at our house to play. We went outside for popsicles and watched a great big storm blow in over the hill. As we sat there it started to rain so we went inside to watch from the door. Then it started to hail, and thunder, and lightning....the boys loved it, Shelbe on the other hand didn't like the big noise of the thunder. It sounded like it was right inside our house!

Shelbe's 3!

Shelbe's birthday was the seventh. We had a great time. We had one party at the park and one at our house. She loved evere minute of it...in fact, she still wants to have a party every night! She's been such a great girl these last few years and we can't wait for all the ones yet to come!

Sleepy Girl

Shelbe fell asleep in between her bed and wall....on her giant pink puppy. I just thought it was pretty cute. She must have been pretty tuckered out....it was like six thirty at night!

Flash Flood

So we had a flood, oh, maybe a month ago and I'm now just getting it posted. Sorry. It was pretty scarry stuff. We had a solid river from the highway to the other culdesac just north of ours. I couldn't get pictures during because we were stranded on the highway and the camera was in our house. But here are some of the aftermath. It washed away the road near the highway, washed sand all across our newly planted lawn, plugged up the sewers, and missed flooding about ten houses, including ours. We were pretty lucky. I don't know how people do it who live in tornado and hurricane places....kuddos to you Jessie!
