Christmas!
Christmas was such a great time for us! Santa came and hit us hard with toys! The kids didn't know where to turn there was so much stuff! We were really blessed this year...Jayk has had a few different jobs, but we've never went without. Christmas is a great time to take a minute and think of where all our blessings DO come from and really give thanks for those. Anyways, we enjoyed time together, time with our families, and getting to celebrate a great season.
Gingerbread Houses
All the cousins got together at my mom's house and did gingerbread houses one Saturday. It was a great time with lots of candy, lots of icing, and lots and lots of kids!

This year for Thanksgiving we went to Pheonix to see my dad's family. We had a really good time visiting with family, eating lots of good food, and going and seeing my Grandpa Derral's grave. I wasn't able to go down for the funeral so it was nice to go and have a little closer with it all. He is barried in the Veterans Memorial Park in North Pheonix. It's really pretty....no grass or anything, just natrual landscaping. Anyways, other than that we caught up with all the family down there that we only get to see once every other year it seems!
