Abbie's 6th Birthday

Abbie had such a fun birthday.  We opened her presents first thing in the morning then went out to eat at the Cracked Egg.  She played her new toys with her friend after school then we all went to see "Enchanted".  Then the Kelly's came over for cake and ice cream.  She got way too many presents but oh well.  She'll have a blast playing with her new things for a while.

We had a great Halloween this year. Ellie was a Gothic Vampiress, Abbie was a witch and Noah was Batman. We had a church party the night before where there was a Chili cook-off, costume contest, haunted house, bobbing for apples, and a trunk or treat. The kids had a blast. Noah has been wanting us to read him this "spooky book" when he goes to bed. He loves the book but freaks out if we leave the book in his room. We have to take it all the way to mom and dad's room. In the book there is a "spooky witch" and he saw her at the party. He couldn't stop looking at her. He kept saying "spooky witch!" I thought it was hilarious. On Halloween night we went to Matt and Samantha's house for soup and trick or treating. Noah was in Heaven. He couldn't believe that all you had to do to get candy was go to someones door and say "trick or treat." The kids got so much candy. I'm a little nervous about my butt. OK- a lot nervous.

The Pumpkin Patch
We took the kids to the pumpkin patch. There were ponies for the kids to ride, slides, an rides. The kids had a blast. It was a fun night.

Hanging in the tent because it was so stinking windy! I guess this is what happens to you when you sit in a closed tent with propane leaking out of your lantern.

We went camping this last weekend with our ward. It was so dang cold and windy that we couldn't sleep the whole night. It was still fun though. We made dutch oven pizza and chocolate cake with cherries. I think I'm becoming a little camper. We are probably going to buy some dutch ovens since our dinner turned out. The only thing that I don't really like is setting up and taking down. . . especially if your staying for only one night.

We thought we'd pull some funny faces. I was quite shocked at the one I was able to pull!!

WE FINALLY GOT A DOG!! Ellie and Abbie have been bugging us to get a dog FOREVER!! Every time they got money they would "save it for the dog." Ellie would get out of bed in the morning and come and tell us of her dog that she had just dreamt about. (Even though she didn't have the dog yet. ) It's been a good thing though for our family. His name is Oscar. He is a very good dog and mostly goes potty outside. It's been fun.

Ellie and Abbie bought a purse so Noah had to have one too. He thinks he's pretty hot stuff with it. (We actually bought "his" purse for his cousin but he got to carry it around until we gave it to her)

The First Day Of School

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!! Only one more year left in my twenties. I hear the thirties are better anyway.

Noah and Abbie love to just get drenched when we go to the park. There are these big buckets that dump out water and they will sit under them until they spill over.


Check out his diaper!! It's so full of water it's almost falling off.


Noah loves to play at the park! Every day he asks to ride bikes and go to the park. The water feature is the best idea anyone has come up with for Las Vegas!!!

My sisters and I went to Park City to go school shopping. Not everyone was able to go unfortunately but it was still fun. We found this Asian-Fusian place that had delicious sushi. It was a good time.

Playing on the 4th

We thought we'd spend the day at the J.W. Marriott on the 4th since we couldn't go home and we didn't have any family in town. We went to see Rattatoille and swam. It was pretty dang fun. I think we could make this a family tradition.
