I was in a rush and couldn't turn the flash on fast enough so this is the best that I got. I was also using Matt's camera and couldn't figure it out. Bummer. Ellie was a gypsy, Abbie was a cheerleader, Noah was Iron Man, and the twins were angels. Awwww.... I just found this wig and wanted to wear it. I'm not quite sure what I was.

Hello again...

I haven't posted for a while because my stinking camera broke!!  I'm so bummed because it is Halloween tomorrow and I won't have a camera to take the pics of the cute kids!!  I'll have to borrow Matt and Sams.  Anyway... things are going well.  Jason's parents came down last week for a golf tournament so Marge and I hung out with the kids, went out to eat, went to a movie, got ready for Halloween, and played around.  We had so much fun.  Love the in-laws.  Lucky me!!

Yesterday Jason and I went to a funeral of a friend of ours kid.  He was only 22 or 23 and died in a long boarding accident.  I am so sad for the family.  Jason and I have been very reflective lately because of this and his grandpas passing.  Makes you want to hold the ones you love a little closer.  

We should be getting a new camera soon.  So until then.... 

Grandma Joan visits

My mom came down this last weekend and we had so much fun with her! It was her turn to stay at Matt and Samantha's but they already had company in town so lucky for us she was able to stay here.

Samantha and I took her to Town Center to do some shopping and eating, watched movies, watched conference, watched kids, planted flowers (I know. It's something you can do in Vegas in the fall), and just hung out.

I'm so glad that I've outgrown my teenage attitude and can finally get along with my mom. Funny how that is.

One line that I don't ever want to forget her saying while she was down is "I just think it's great how you can let your house become a little messy and cluttered and be ok with it." You know... I totally took that as a compliment. It really is an art form!! I had to give her crap for saying it though. I'll make sure it's like that whenever she comes down because I know how much she admires me for it. :)
