My Baby Girl is 4

I can't believe that this little cutie is four!  We did a low key party this year with just our immediate family and then Josh and I later took Micah and her cousin Tilly to chuck e Cheeses.  I think we will end up doing friend parties every other year :)  I'll post pics later this week of chucke cheese when I get them uploaded.

I'm getting better at my cake making but still need a ton of practice..my second cake fondant free..I'm starting to figure out how to smooth out buttercream.

I forgot to get  a picture of her new big kitchen under the green blanket! Micah ended up running 101 fever by the end of the party..which explained why she didn't want to uncover her new kitchen! poor baby.

God has blessed us so much with her over the past four years. I've gotten to see God transform her from a toddler into a loving young girl.  I pray that she continues to grow in love and kindness and falls desperately in love with our Savior!  Micah I can't imagine my life without your vibrant spirit..you crack me up and wear me out all at the same time :) You are an amazing big sister! You love your brother so much and will help take care of him whenever he needs something. I love you so much!

CHRISTmas and a Happy New Year!

We had a great Christmas this year! I absolutely love getting to spend Christmas Eve with Josh's family and then Christmas day with mine.  We actually got to spend a lot of time with my family because we got snowed in at their house..12" to be exact!  This was the first white Christmas that I can ever remember..it was beautiful minus the power outage.  However, mom and dad had a generator that powered the whole house, so we stayed there from Tuesday to Friday!  That was my first time to stay the night at my parents since I've gotten married..which has almost been 8 years..wow!  it was so much fun and I'm so thankful that God has blessed me with amazing in laws and amazing parents!

 Sisters!! Another big plus to the holidays...Keeli comes home from Texas! I miss her so much, but we had a blast while she was here..can't wait to go visit her in College Station..hopefully in the next month or so.

Christmas cookies that she made for Santa...Micah was so much fun this year and she had a blast opening Brandts presents..we kept telling her to say thank you so much that when she handed other people their presents she would tell them to say "thank you"..she wouldn't let you forgot to say thank you if she had to say too! That girl is a hilarious.  

Sorry for the long post, but a lot has happened since Thanksgiving.  Hopefully you all had a great Christmas and remembered to celebrate our Saviors birth!!  I think we are going to start a tradition next year where we make a birthday cake for Jesus instead of Christmas cookies for Santa. 

Excited about 2013..2012 was a crazy year of change for our family...which if you know me, I'm not a fan of change..But God's plan is always so much better than what I would choose.  I've gotten to stay at home with my kids this year, start my design business, and Josh became the youth pastor at a church just minutes from our house. (which our new church family has been amazing, we are so blessed to be able to serve there)  The roller coaster ride of this year was full of so many blessings and tears, all of which has grown my faith in the Lord.  It's never a dull life if you're trying to walk by FAITH! May you all have a wonderful 2013!!!

Pumpkin Patch!!!

Fall is probably my favorite time of the year.  I'm always in awe of God's creation and how all the trees change color and the weather is just perfect!  I can sit outside with my kids everyday during this time of the year.. What an awesome God we serve!

We were able to go to the pumpkin patch in Mayflower with some sweet friends of ours; Chancey, Amber and Anna Mcadoo!  The kids and adults had a blast! (minus me trying to take Brandts picture...he didn't appreciate me sitting him in a pile of pumpkins)

 Micah was running to go pick out her pumpkin in the patch!  She picked a small, green one!  Forget about the huge orange ones she could have picked..oh well, appreciating the small things in life!

I can't believe we are about to have halloween, my birthday, thanksgiving, Brandts birthday, Christmas and then Josh's birthday...all before the end of the year...needless to say, my next two months are booked!!  But like I said, I love FALL!  Have a great week!

Destin 2012

We went to Destin, FL last week and had a blast!  It rained the first two days we were there, so we hit up the outlet mall.  We spend a lot less money at the beach when it doesn't rain :)  I'm always amazed at how quickly the week goes by.  I'm already ready to start planning for next year!!

We drove straight through to Destin and back home and I couldn't have asked for my kiddos to have been better.  Micah just hung out watching her dvd's the whole time and Brandt slept a lot (thank goodness)

My sister and her boyfriend came with us to help with the kids and I am so thankful that they did..I don't think they minded coming to the beach to help babysit.
