It's October again...

Yes, it is that time of year again to remember PINK. To remember my mother this month and what she went through and what little help will do to find the cure for Beast Cancer.

Canyon Lake

We went to a new lake this weekend.  It was great to go to a new place and see new scenery.  We went to Canyon Lake on Saturday.  It was fun.  I have been there once before and Jason had never been there.  Jason had a great day, me on the other hand didn't.  It was a tough day for me, no fish for me.  Below are some of the pictures of Jason's fish:

This fish was 18" long and weighed 3.65lbs. 

Then I was having fun with the camera.  Here are some of the scenic pictures of the lake and the sun set. Also, they have a 'Dolly' boat that take you on tours of the lake.   

Vacation

We are back from vacation! We did a lot of fishing, camping, hanging with family, and even relaxing.  We went up north to Jason's family trailer that is about 2 hours north of where they live.  We went in stayed there for three days.  It was great to go away from everything.  We didn't have much cell service or Internet.  We did A LOT of fishing. It was fun.  I caught for the first a Smallmouth bass, that was fun.  That was on the list of things to do while we were in Wisconsin. 

Then we can back and hung out with his parents on Wednesday and chilled to get away from the mosquitoes. Then went fishing with his dad on Thursday to Lake Wisota we catch some Walleye, again another thing that was on the list of things that I wanted to do while we were there.  He was a little guy. 

We then went to the National Eagle Center in Minnesota, by the Mississippi River.  I was able to take my picture with a real eagle up close.  That was a neat day! I love eagles and to was great to learn more about them. Some facts about Bold Eagles: they live up to 25 years in the wild. They eat mostly fish, they can also eat: rabbit, squarrrel, rat, quail and anything else they see that they would like to eat. They can see as far as we can read a newspaper from 100 yardrs away. They are very clean birds, they can spray their poop 6 feet away. Their wing span is about 5-6 feet.  The females weigh about 10 to 12 pounds and males weigh 8 to 10 pounds. One claw has the strength of 400 pounds.

On the way hom from the Eagle center we went to find some cheese.  We went to this place it was so good!

Then Saturday we went to four lakes that I have never been to, which was great we were the first ones on the lake and we found a really nice spot and we caught 12 fish or so which is great considering we have never been to this lake. There was a very small channel to get to the other lakes. There was lots of lilly pads with flowers that were blooming.  It was a fun day!

We found this in the water, we are not sure how or when it got there but REALLY! How dangerous is this?

Family is Forever

I taught a lesson yesterday in Gospel Principles class called Temple work and Family History.  It was great.  I LOVE to see the Temple!  There was a great spirit there.  I know that through the temple we can be sealed together and be able to live with family forever.  It was great to learn more of the temple again. Also, great to learn more about family history work and how simple it is. 

Dream Vacation

Hawaii

Some of you know that my sister lives there and I WANT/NEED to go there to visit her.

Vacation Again

Yes, we are going on vacation again. :-) I am excited and glad to FLY to Wisconsin.  Yes, we are going there again.  Jason's dad was in a bicycle accident a cracked 4 ribs and had scraps all over him so we are going back to help mom around the house and to help get the yard ready, and of course take care of dad and get him OUT of the house.  He is a kind of guy that CAN'T sit still. This has been very difficult for him to sit at home and do nothing.  He seems to be healing well.  It will be great to see him. 

Change

What is change?  Some people love it and some people hate it.  I am one who likes change.  It makes me feel a sense of new energy and a new beginning. My brother Brad will soon be living with us and I need to change some things around the house to make room for him. It will be great!  I need to clean and get rid of stuff that I haven't touched since I got married (almost 2years ago).  I just keep saying that when I get my own house I do this and that, but at this rate it might be while so I just need to get rid it.

Wisconsin

Our trip was great! There was lots of fishing, lots of rain, relaxing, shopping, fun, planting of flowers, greenery, wildlife (deer, eagles, geese, raccoons, coyotes, wild turkeys) and visiting. We surprised his dad for Father's Day. It was great! I wish I had the camera when we walked in and saw his face. It was priceless! It was nice to be there for Father's Day and to be there with him. He is a great!

The last day we were there it is was sunny so we went out to fish. It was a wonderful day. I caught four different species of fish which was fun to caught some different fish. I caught a Northern Pike, Large Mouth Bass, Rock Bass, Bluegill.



This is picture of me is one of the days that it was supposed to rain. I believe it rained in the morning and then Jason and I went out later to fish. It was a little chilly.

This is the planter that his mom and I worked on while I was there. It rained in the morning and then went and got some flowers so we could plant them while the soil was wet.

Vacation

Yay! We are goining on vacation. I am looking forward to getting out of Arizna for a little while. We are DRIVING to Wisconsin. :-)

This is a Bluegill fish. We will be fishing for these.

This is a Northern Pike. They are fun to catch and very slimy and have teeth.

This is a Walleye. I want to catch of of these as well.

Update on Austin

He has been so so HAPPY! He's getting better. I was able to visit him again today. He was happy to see people and wanted to play. He was playing pick-a-boo my himself with his blanket and playing with his toys. Hopefully he continues to healing and getting better. Thank you for your prayers.

Austin

An update on Austin. He was flown down to Mesa last night and will be in the hospital for at least another week if not more, depending on the antibiotics and how well his body is reacting to seizures. He had a really long seizure last night and Flagstaff couldn't get it to stop so they sent him to Meza. We are still praying for him.

I was able to see him today and he was having a rough day. He was hungry they were waiting to feed him until he had a MRI. We are hoping to get great results from that. He was on some meds this morning to help him with the seizures so he was sleeping most of the day. He is such a sweet boy!! We hope he gets BETTER soon.

My nephew Austin

We need your prayers. Austin, Sara's son just received news that he has meningitis. He will be in the hospital for at least 2 weeks. Please remember him in your prayers. Thank you for your faith for him to be healed.

Tournament Season

Our last tournament of the season was Saturday. We won 4th place with Big fish as a 2.82lb. It was fun and HOT!! It was a great day to be outside. We had enough points to win Angler of the year as well. We were really close to the 2nd place people. Up to this point in the season we were 6.9 points ahead. It was a little stressful going into this tournament. I told Jason that all we need to do is go fish our best and things will work out and they did! It was a great experience for me. I am glad that we fished it!!

Hives

I woke up with hives on April 20 and they got worse through out the say, so I went to the doctor to see what it really was. I usually get hives when I am stressed. I didn't feel stressed, but I guess I might have been stressed with things at work. The doctor said that is was an allergic reaction to something blooming in the air or something that I ate that I am allergic to. She said we may never figure out what is wrong. She gave me a prescription and it went away the next day. Well last Saturday I woke up with them again. This time only worse. I still have them today. They have been everywhere: on my lips, my hands, my knee, my ear, the back of my knee, my feet, my eye and my fingers have been swollen because of the hives and they itch really bad!! I have been talking taking Benadryl every for hours to stop the itching so I have been really tired. I have them all over me legs, stomach, feet, hands, face, arms, chest, shoulders, really every time I looked somewhere I found a spot. I can't wait for them to be gone! It would be really nice to find out what is going on with me. I think I need a vacation!!

Fishing Tournament

Yesterday we had oppurtunity to fish at our company's fishing tournament at Lake Pleasent. It was a very cold, wind, and rain, but we got through it. Jason won 1st place. This is was the first time that an emplyee won in several years. It was fun.
