This week is almost over. My week started with a huge delay of the stupid train from Groningen to Rotterdam. I stucked in Meppel. The train driver said the police is on the rails to look for the mess to clean. That stupid excuses let all of the passengers waited for hours! In total, I had a delay of 2.5hours! When I arrived in Rotterdam, I had no public transport to my room, since it was already 01.00AM.

My stupid supervisor (Piet) came along this Monday. He told me he ordered Helium gaseous last week. He excpected that the bottle will arrive at the end of this week or begin next week. However, he should do this much earlier, since I have been waiting for his response for more than 1 month already! If I didn't tell my new supervisor (Lukasz) about the bad supervision of Piet (indirectly), I think Piet "somehow" forgets to order the bottle for me.

There is one thing left that I didn't ask Piet. A few months ago, when he was testing the O2 sensor, his circuit somehow failed to work. I didn't know if he had fixed that issue. I asked him to test the O2 sensor on his circuit (that he copies from TNO) before he handles that to me. But somehow, he refused to do that. I will wait for the moment that comes when me, Lukasz and Piet were looking at the O2 sensor at his circuit. If his circuit failed, then I hope Lukasz will get know how bad Piet was doing his job.

The bottle arrived yesterday. I expected I can start testing. But he said that we couldn't do that, since he borrow the T-tube that will be placed on top of the bottle to a group in Dimes. He said, he contacted them to bring the T-tube back, but they didn't reply his e-mail. Suspectly, Piet said the guys were on vacation.

I was quite mad at him. But I didn't have the energy to scold him. I kept that after I received my MSc title. He didn't have the knowledge of the area he is working on. He even cannot arrange things for students. Like, he wanted to place the bottle next to my table. I said that this is a very bad idea, since my photodiode is very sensitive to environment light. He should know that, since he provided me that photodiode for testing. I gave him a solution where he can place the bottle the best.

Anyway, enough about him. This week, I meet Hoiwan and Lynette for dinner. I almost forgot I have a dinner appointment with the ladies. We went to eat sushi. I noticed that the food quality of the Japanese restaurant became worse and worse. I have been to two different Japanese restaurants to eat. None of them satisfied me.

During the dinner, the ladies were asking me about the photo-album of Lili's wedding. I didn't bring them with me. I was also forgotten to show them, since I was showing the photo-album of Ann's wedding to Ann and her sister the day before. The day after the dinner with Hoiwan and Lynette, Lili wanted to come along to see the first 20 pages of her wedding. So, I collected the photos and showed her. She and Samuel were very happy with the work so far. :) I will share the photos when the photo-album is complete on my blog.

I was busy working on advertisement for my last commercial shoot. This time, I let a real professional for retouching one of my photos. We had a deal. He worked for me on one image for 250euro!!! Let me share such a expense photo with you.

This week is another week. A busy week again. Last Sunday when I was on the way to Rotterdam, sitting in the rain, I had a delay of 30min! So, I arrived in Rotterdam at 11.30PM. Besides, the trainticket is sooooo expensive! I really do not like the public transport in Holland, since it is expensive and it has a lot of delays.

This week, I meet Joycelyn for a dinner. She was abroad for work. We haven't seen each other for 6 months already. She didn't change at all. I noticed that she put a lot of make-up on her face. We went to eat Japanese buffet. Like many other ladies, Joycelyn just eat very little. She even skipped the ice cream desert.

At Thursday, Gina came along. She teached me how to do administration work for my business. I had no time to do preparation. So, she suggests to move that to the next week.

The next day, I had a wedding. Micheal and FeiFei were going to marry. Their wedding is very very simple. There were only 40 guests attending their family. I start shooting at 8.30AM and end at 11PM. I was late for the shooting, because my driver was late and we also stucked in the traffic jam. I really did not apreciate being late. But I did not know how to be mad at the driver.

This weekend, Airin drops me a message in my facebook. She asks me if I want to shoot her brother's pre-wedding. I was very happy and I feel very honoured by her offer. I will definitely make a miracle of the pre-wedding shots. :)

Coming weekend, I will stay in Rotterdam. Therefore, I might not be able to update my blog. But let me show you my most recent commercial work:



The model is Renske V. I really like her face. She can be a very beautiful beauty model. But she cannot be a successful model, because of her body.

Coming days, I have to retouch many pictures. I really keep myself very busy...

Recently, I was so busy with so many stuff. All my days are filled with meetings, meetings and meetings. It has turned out even worse. I do not have 1 appointments on 1 day, but 4 in some days! Being busy is a good thing. But this kind of busy is maybe over the edge.

Since I have been so busy, I rarely can have good rest. I usually get back to my room around 00.15AM. After preparing to sleep, it is around 1AM. The next day, I have to wake up at 6-7AM. In the few hours of sleep, I have been attacked by the mosquitos. I guess, not killing them at the beginning was my big mistake. Since it seems that the mosquitos settled their home in my little room, which means 2 turns into 4, 4 into 8, etc.

I am not sure if I have mentioned about my part-time as a part-time teacher. The kids of this age, are very different than 10 years ago. I remember when I attended at the first year of my Secondary School, I was not that noisy kid. My classmates are also kind of "good" kids. Okay, Okay, I know it is unfair to compare MAVO/HAVO/VWO pupils with the MAVO ones. But still, all of us have learned how to behave.

My job is not mainly give tuition, but it seems that I have to find a way to keep everyone sitting at their chair and packing all their books out and going to work. There are two words I usually have to use when I am in class. Guess what?! "Silence, please!" Yeah, the kids really don't know how to keep their lips closed.

So, at school, I have to deal with the noisy kids and when I go to my university, I have to deal with my bad supervision. Last week, I noticed that my supervisor gave me a not-working device to me. Therefore, all my measurements results are crap. I asked him to give me a working sensor, but till now, he still didn't give me a new (working) one. I contacted Lukasz to help me to solve this, since it is really enough for me to work on my thesis.

The frustations are flying around me, even when I go back to my room. I tried to put this aside, but sometimes it was not very easy. Luckily, I had many appointments. They avoid me to think about my frustations. I had so many meetings, since there are many things that I have to arrange and discussed. Let start with Lili's wedding.

Lili is my first friend in my friend-circle who is married. I am asked to take photos during her most beautiful day. The original plan was that someone else will do this, since Lili wants me to be as her good friend at their wedding in stead of a photographer. Since the photographer she wants to hire, was a. not available anymore 2. his skill is not good, they ask me a favour.

The wedding shoot was a long day of work. I got up at 4AM and I ended at 00.25AM. I am very happy to attend my good friend's wedding. Some days before the wedding, I had my first official bachelor party. Since Samuel did not have many friends in Holland, Lili asked me if I could join the bachelor party.

The bachelor party was OK. We went out to a place where you can do a lot of stupid activities, like cycling in a bike that can holds 8 people. The group that can cycle the fastest win. I belong to the loser team. Hahaha...

I give my blog title "financial crisis hits my pocket", since I encounter financial troubles recently. My monthly cashflow from the government (Studiefinanciering) has stopped, since I did not have any right to borrow money from the government anymore. This is my biggest cashflow (800euro a month)! The government support is not unexpected. I have been prepared and that is why I was looking for a part-time to support me. Although I have that part-time, I do not earn enough money for my montly expenses.

My other might come from my photoshoots. The sad thing is, is that I do not earn from my commercial shoots, because of the limited budget they gave me. They agreed with 6 shootings a year, which was mine cousin's idea. I am spending money in commercial assignments. Therefore, I do not mind to not earn money in short terms. But over the long term, I really hope I can get more jobs.

I have two weddings I am in charge for (the first one is Lili's wedding and the other one is from Micheal and Feifei), means building up my portfolio only. I told them that I am happy if they pay me the costs I made, since I want to build up my portfolio.

I do not know how long I can stand this. I also do not know if my decissions are wise. But I will let my control over to 老天爷, who I hope He will help me a bit to be a successful man.
