I love my new Exersaucer!!!!

Well we had another great week and weekend with our sweet baby Grant. The camera has been snapin again....we just can't get enough of our little one. Grant had another first this week...the Baby Einstein Exersaucer, he loved it and thinks he is such the big boy. He is still so little that his little feet and legs don't touch the base so we have to put a pillow under his feet just so they can touch something. Every morning now he is really enjoying his new found love, the exersaucer. We also had another really fun weekend with family. My parents came into town for a few different reasons. Reason #1 Grant!!! Reason #2 Grant's prayer day at church, and reason #3 the National Wild Turkey Convention...yes my Dad is a huge turkey hunter and my husband is getting into the sport. Even though Grant did not participate in the Turkey Convention ( he shopped with the ladies this time) his Granddaddy got him the cutest little camo(it's called mossy oak for any of you girls who have husbands that hunt) outfit, it was too funny. We really had a wonderful time starting with a gumbo dinner at the house on Thursday night, dinner at Firefly on Friday with our great friends the Geraghty's, lots of shopping and lunching, a birthday party for one of Grant's little friends, Sushi on Saturday at Peter's...yum, the best in town for sure, Church on Sunday where Grant had his prayer day and then lunch at Brentwood Country Club with family. The weekend was great and once again we had so much fun with our sweet baby. Here are some of the fun pictures that capture the past week and weekend in review. We had a big Valentine or should I say Christmatine (made that word up) with Matthew's family. We had a very delayed Christmas this year plus celebrated Valentines all in one weekend....funness!!! Grant was just our best and sweetest Valentine gift ever. We had so much fun with him and it was great to see Gigi and Pops. Thank you Gigi and Pops for our great new camera and Grant's new red firetruck among all the other great gifts, we had a blast!!! Here are some pics from the weekend.

VEGAS BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, today or really this week marks a very important moment in time.....OUR TRIP TO VEGAS. One year ago at this time some of you may recall we took a little trip to Vegas....well....we sure did have a ton of fun!!! So much fun look what we brought home with us from that trip!!! What happens in Vegas doesn't always stay there!!! Viva Las Vegas BABY!!!!

We have stayed continuously very busy lately with Grant and have has so much fun watching Grant experience a few first moments. His first Superbowl experience was a blast. We went to two different super bowl parties with great friends and family and enjoyed each one. We have also had our first church expereince. We were a little nervous since Grant is a very vocal baby with lots of coos and toots these days I really had no idea how the church experience would turn out. On the way to church it was his nap time ( we only made service not class this time) and he cried most of the drive there. We walked in right when service started and were able to sit with famliy which was great. He stayed very awake for the first half and seemd to be really capitvated by all the people and singing. Between the pacifier in and out of his mouth, little burps, and a few coos the church expereince was going well so far. After about 30 minutes he started to hoo, hoo a bit and we got the diaper bag ready for departure to the quiet room...but..... he quickly calmed down and went sound to sleep. He slept the rest of the service and we successfully made it through the entire church service. We have also had more fun lately with a suprise visit from Mimi and Granddaddy and some of Matthew's family, Chris and Gina. We have visited some extended familyas well and have just really enjoyed taking tons of pictures of all the special moments. There have been fun Birthday celebrations to mention has also...Happy birthday to my sweet friends Jocee and Lauren....there parties were a blast. All in all we have had a really great but busy few weeks. On the side of enjoying our sweet Grant I have failed to mention our renovation project here at the house which as also kept us exptremly busy. I will take pictures later and share but we are putting the finishing touches on the project as we speak and are so happy with all the results.
