Ava's 2 year stats...

We had Ava's check up this last week and here are her stats and some fun facts about her....

• 23 pounds - 15%tile
• 32 inches tall - 15%tile

Fun Facts..

• already knows her ABC's and loves to sing them
• When she gets mad she will scream "shake your booty yeah yeah" we don't know where it came from but its so hard not to laugh when she says it
• Loves to read her books and play puzzles
• She is getting into playing with babies
• She is very independent and loves doing everything by herself
• She knows her colors and a lot of her animals in SIGN LANGUAGE!!!
• If she see's something once, she will remember how to do it
• She loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
  
• She is the light of our lives and couldn't imagine life without her...

And baby makes....... 4!! (or more!)

Merry Christmas!!!

Yup, that is right. A baby brother or sister will be here towards the end of July or August!! We haven't been to the doctor yet but as of right now my due date is August 17th. (Taylor's birthday!!)

Ava tells me there is 2 babies in my belly- 1 boy and 1 girl baby. I'm already showing which is crazy but we go to the doctor January 5th and they will be able to get a better due date.... maybe i'm further along then we think!

Ava's 2nd Birthday- PARTY!!!

Today we celebrated Ava's 2nd birthday. WOW has time flown by! We had a great party and Ava got spoiled of course!! We missed my family in Utah but was surrounded by most of the family here in Tennessee. I think overall she enjoyed her day and has LOVED playing with all the toys all day!! Right now her and Daddy are playing on the drum set she was given by Grandma Gayle. Remind me to thank her again!

This is what Robby and I got her. She loves to read books and watch movies so I thought this little chair would come in handy. She loves it!

Opening the presents. This particular present is the first one she opened from Robby's Aunt Jeannie and we had to fight and beg her to continue because all she wanted to do was play with this one toy! Thanks Aunt Jeannie for the awesome gift!! It was too good, she hasn't put it down!

Once we were able to quickly hide the first present so she would continue, we were able to get her to open a few more.

This present was the Mickey and Minnie dolls from MeMe, Papaw and Aunt Nikki

Here cheese smile. This gift was probably my favorite that she got. I'll have to take pictures of the actual book, but Aunt Sheila spent alot of time making a 'scrap book' type book for Ava but it didn't have just pictures. It starts out with pictures and names of Ava's family and then it goes in to ABC's, Colors, Numbers, Sign Language, habitats, and so much more!! it is a priceless book we will look at so much. In fact it entertained her at Matt's birthday dinner.

Time for Cake!! She had been asking to have some 'cupcakes' all day and then when it was finally time to eat it she didn't want any...

We had a great day and just wanted to thank everyone that has celebrated the life of our little girl with us over the last 2 years. Its been a great blessing to have her in our lives and look forward to many more birthdays.

Update

I just wanted to put a few updates up and let everyone know we are still alive. Things have been very busy around here now that I'm working full-time. Ava is in a daycare and she loves it! Her teacher is deaf and can hear and talk only a little so she signs with the kids. Ava has learned so many different signs and is doing so good in her class.

This past weekend she has really stepped up with the potty-training and has went in the potty 2 times!! We aren't pushing it because well she isn't even 2 yet but if she wants to do it we are letting her.

At school (daycare) they have been working on their ABC's and she can pretty much sing them all. She misses a few inbetween D and J but other than that she has them all down.

She is such a smart little girl and we love watching and seeing her grown and learn. She is into that stage where everything you say she asks "why". If you are driving and don't talk for a minute or two she will ask you "what are you doing?".

We are loving married life and are just trying to get adjusted to all the new changes around our house. We are very excited for the holidays and love how involved Ava will be this year.

She will be 2 in a few short weeks and we can't believe it. Time has flown by and i'm missing having a baby around. Maybe we'll have another baby soon :)

The setting for the wedding was perfect. We loved the atmosphere and even had deer roaming the grounds during the ceremony and reception.

Our Wedding Day: Part 1 of ?

We got married on September 19th, 2009. I feel so overwhelmed with the pictures I do have and I don't even have the bridals or the professional ones yet... here are just some that friends took and I'll post more from the professional ones when I get them!!

I can't believe that in 10 days our family will finally be whole! I will become Mrs. Ward!! I am so excited and so ready to be Robby's wife. Maybe my nerves and excitement are getting to me and that is why I'm awake at 2:30 am! I am ready for the wedding to be over and to start this new chapter in our fairytale! I hope the wedding goes off without a hitch and all the hard work will come together nicely.

I laid here in bed tonight trying to sleep and thought of the million and one things I still need to do but can't do any of them at this time of night (or morning for that matter).

Robby is in Oakridge, TN (?? I think that is right...) area tonight and comes home later this afternoon. I put Ava to bed in her bed tonight (yes, she snuggles with mommy occasionally :) ) and ended up getting her out and putting her in my bed about an hour ago hoping that would help me sleep and I found myself just starring at her watching her sleep. She is so peaceful when she sleeps. Occasionally she will wake up and look at you and smile and whisper your name. I feel so blessed to have such a precious gift from God. Now, even more blessed to be her daddy's wife!

I can't wait to see the look on his face when he sees me for the first time in my wedding dress...

I can't wait to have our first dance as husband and wife (to the song he is picking out as our first song... he really is romantic like that and usually has good choices with songs and sentimental value...)

I can't wait to sign the marriage license. (we are going to go get that today too when he comes home!!)

I can't wait to say my vows in front of God and our friends and family and commit my life to loving him and only him.

I can't wait for our honeymoon night....

I can't wait to be his FOREVER and EVER...

I can't wait to be the wife he has always dreamed of...

I can't wait to look into his eyes, holding his hands and make it known that I am his and he is mine.... FOREVER!!!

I can't wait for September 19th, at 5:30pm (ON THE DOT!!) to become MRS. Robert Wayne Ward!!

I can't wait to hear the words "you may now kiss your bride"
