New Batman!! Woo hoo!

Stan and I just got the new Batman movie and it is awesome! It was on sale at Wal Mart woot woot! Heath Ledger did such a good job! So did Christian Bale! If you've seen it, let me know if you liked it! Thanksgiving Deliciousness!

Our first Thanksgiving together was a lot of fun! We ended up staying in San Diego for actual Thanksgiving because we both had work, but it was still nice. We did a pot luck sort of thing with some friends, Ed made the amazing turkey, we made the orange rolls (after calling mom 12 times to get help haha!) and dessert, Jeni brought potatoes and drinks, and Shelly brought Cranberry sauce. We all feasted then watched Hancock (which was pretty good, by the way). On Friday we headed up to Visalia to be there for Kylee's baby blessing and Megan Koch's bridal shower/Bachelorette party (which both were a lot of fun)! It was so nice to see everybody again! While I was going to the showers and girly parties with mom, Lindsey, Amanda, and Kylee, Stan went golfing with Dad, Richard, and Jeremy. He had a lot of fun too. It was kinda funny, at Megan's bridal shower I was standing next to baby Kylee and a lady (who looked absolutely appalled) asked if that was my kid, I said no but geez lady! haha The same thing happened when I told a lady cutting my hair that I was married, she asked if I was 18. Do i look like a little kid or something??What the heck? hahaha jkjk (since I am only 20 I guess it's fine jkjk)

New Hair!

I cut and dyed my hair, now it's short and brownish yay!

Poo stinks- seriously

Today while I was at school, Franklin pooped right in front of the front door. When I came home I didn't see his little present so (of course) I stepped in it, didn't notice, and continued to walk all over our apartment. Now not only is there poo in all the cracks on the bottoms of my favorite converse, but also on our purple rug and all over our living room! It's everywhere! Clever boy...

Halloween Party

So these are pictures from our After Halloween Party! We had a lot of fun! There are pictures some of our pumpkins-dot one and owl one- and our posse, plus brain watermelon! Well...kinda brain haha! We got a group of our friends t0 be Mario Characters with us-Stan is Mario, I'm Peach, Shelly is Princess Daisy, Andrew Regehr is Toad,and Franklin was Yoshi haha! Other friends came as Juno and a baseball player, we had a hippie, a secretary and boss, and a painter. For games we ended up doing the game where you write the name of a famous person on a sticky note,then stick it on the head of the person next to you and they have to guess the name. Also, one of our neighbors has been building a Halloween walk through thing in his front yard for the past month, so we all went to check it out. It was really awesome, the guy set up walls that went around the side of his house, through the backyard, the garage, and the front yard, then decorated it with all the disney halloween stuff (nightmare before christmas, pirates of the Caribbean, bones from Indiana Jones, etc.). It was really awesome! Samantha and Keith(dressed as a secretary and boss) came down and hung out for the day/came to the party too! Fun stuff!

Ward Party

For our ward Halloween party we made owl cupcakes! They were a hit! It was fun to go and see all the little kids dressed up and play games. We went as Mario and Princess Peach, way fun!

Halloween help!

Hello everybody! Stanley and I are having a San Diego Halloween party and we need fun game ideas! We're going to have the donut on a string game and I've found a few others, but if you have any ideas, please let me know! I'm good with food and decorations, but games? Not so much...haha

My new Job!

So I just got hired at Gamestop and I'm super excited! I get to sell video games and its going to be awesome. Plus, I get sweet discounts on games and stuff! Woohoo! I start Tuesday! yay!

Ella licking Franklin!

Rachel went to stay in Visalia for a few weeks because of her surgery and she took Franklin along with her (Stanley and I are trying to move into a new apartment, blah blah blah). She took him over to Amanda's house to see the girls, so he ran up and started licking Ella and getting in her face. Rachel kept telling Ella he was giving her kisses so she wouldn't be scared of him, but now Ella keeps trying to lick him back! haha

RIP George Clooney Iguana

Our bigger iguana, George Clooney died on Tuesday! It was so sad! I think it's from being stressed out because she had a really bad burn from sitting too close to a heat lamp (you'd think once you felt your skin sizzling you would move, but no). We miss George already~!

Franklin!

This is Franklin! We got a little dog and he's so cute! Look at that face! Technically his name is Franklin Sinatra and he's a rat terrier (get it- rat terrier, rat pack!) ah hahaha~! Stanley says I'm a big dork, but I think its cool haha! For Halloween we're either going to make him be Yoshi or Toad to go along with us as Mario and Peach.

Stanley's Job!!!!!

We're both so excited Stanley got hired at an animal hospital as a "kennel technician." It's pretty sweet, he takes care of and plays with dogs all day! He really likes it so far. Now I'm the only one left job searching... hopefully something works out soon! We miss and love everyone!

New Painting

This is a new painting I did of some flowers mom and i found when we were in Utah picking out wedding dresses. The flowers are supposed to be blue, but I spiced them up a bit. Right now Stanley is working on a painting of a Cockatoo! It's coming along pretty nicely, I'll post a picture when he finishes it.

Shark Cupcakes!

Stanley's mom got me this book on how to make sweet cupcakes! This was the first experiment. They're sharks and buoys! One shark kept falling over...Stanley just ate that one. The sharks are made out of twinkies!

Honeymooooooooon!

This is Frijoli (roughly translated= Beans)! our new iguana friend who rode home with us in Stanley's pants. When we went around town he would ride in my hair or on Stanley somewhere...













There were huge iguanas everywhere! We were in heaven. It was fun trying to find them. There were also a ton of monitors! Weird...We loved Mexico! It was warm and way humid (the kind where you just feel wet no matter what), the ocean was around 80 degrees! Our hotel was right on the beach, it was so nice! We went on the stoney island tour & went horseback riding, Stanley's horse was a little brat! She would try to hurry to the front of the line and almost ran Stanley into a tree :)




Nothing more relaxing then drinking out of coconuts! THe acutual drink was gross, but the experience was cool haha





















All the shops and vendors had these nasty little glazed frogs! They were totally alive at some point, but now they're just decorative we guess...kinda cool...eh....



























































This is the view of the pool at our hotel! It was pretty neat, there were bars in all the pools & stools in the water. One pool had the bar behind a waterfall! They looked cool, but we didn't use them, of course.









We went to dinner at the Italian restraunt at the hotel. Right outside there were these huge wax things where tons of candles had melted! One of our favorite memories of the trip was the "Live Spanish Singer!" at the restaurant. He ended up only singing Frank Sinatra songs in English, just with a Spanish accent, like this "Strangers en di night, eschanging glansis, wandring in di night, what where der chances, we'd be making lub before di night was tru!" It was awesome.

Right where we drove in, there was a huge a huge aviary filled with Macaws, then on either side of the entry way-huge aviaries with peacocks!, then in the back were aviaries with parakeets and lovebirds! It was so cool! We loved it!

Family Reeeeeeeunion!

We had so much fun at the family reunion! Way to go mom! Labeaus is bomb~! Miss the milkshakes already! It'd be worth a diabetic breakdown! haha! We got a good picture of mom expaining the nylon flour game and a good one of Dad about to take out Andrew. I love the one of the in laws in the raft but where is Jeremy! Jeremy, you're supposed to be the captain! Sorry my friend. Let me warn you, Stanley wants to lead a mutiny. We had a lot of fun and can't wait til next year!!!

World War II Cake!

For Jeni's birthday, CHelly and i baked her a cake that recreated the attack on Pearl Harbor and the end of World War II with the nuclear bomb. You can see a plan attacking Hawii and a mushroom could on Japan. This was the first attempt at making a round cake where you have to stack 4 cakes. One of the middle cakes broke in half, which is why we ended up with a bit of a landslide... oh well. Jeni is a history major, by the way...we're not just crazy. haha

Stanley proposed!!

He actually proposed on the 10th, I'm a little behind. It was super sweet tho, we went on top of Mt. Soledad (there are pictures of the top of Mt. Soledad on the post where Shelly is stuffing her face with donuts), where you can see the temple and all of La Jolla, pretty sweet view. Stanley brought his guitar and played the song "I'll follow you Into the Dark" by Death Cab for Cutie, which is kind of our joke since I'm still deathly afraid of the dark...yeah, that hasn't gone away yet...then he got down on one knee and popped the question! Way cute! We decided we're doing everything backwards- planning the wedding before we get engaged, having the reception before we get married. And I'm not pregnant! haha

Enough of the Goof!

Goofing off with my roommates and Stanley. We had a couple rainy days last week and we kinda went crazy. There's one picture of me drop kicking Shelly while she's trying to click her heels...I bet she'll never try that again. haha And I don't know why I didn't just get my bangs out of my face, gosh! I guess it looks more emo that way. haha!Oh well.

Breakfast on top of Mt. Soledad

Aubrey came to town to hang out for memorial day weekend. We all got donuts to eat on top of Mt. Soledad, it was way fun! Poor Chelly is what we call bulemic jkjk not really, we just kept making her eat donuts. Check out the sweet view from the top! There's an awesome view of the temple, but you can't see it in this picture...
