Snow and more snow!!

Wow! Look at the snow on Christmas Eve. We really got hit with more than they expected and we love it! Makes it feel so Christmasy.

Last Tuesday we got a little snow and so while Scott and Carter waited for the bus, they built a snowman.  By the time they got home from school, the head had melted off and just the body remained.  Thus began the snowman body war.  Carter took what was left of their creation and stuck it on top of his mailbox.  When Scott figured that Carter wouldn't notice, he transferred it to our mailbox.  Of course, Carter couldn't let Scott get away with that, so he snuck it back........and so on and so forth until there wasn't much left by the end of the week.

Thanksgiving Day

Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, rolls, pie and family --- what more can you ask for on this November day of thanks?
Amy and family, Kendall's brother and family and Kendall's parents came to spend the day and helped by bringing alot of the food.  Jenna and her family went to Denton to be with Adam's family this year. We missed having Kristin and Leah and their families with us but are glad they got to spend it with their extended family.
We have much to be grateful for every day and are so blessed to have the love of family and the gospel which unites us for eternity.

More Pictures of Backyard

As promised, here are pictures of when Kristin and kids were here in September and then of when the landscaping and arbor were finished.  We wish we could have spent more time in the pool before it got cool, but we do enjoy sitting out on a nice day and listening to the spillway or getting into the spa.  We look forward to many fun and relaxing days in the future.
