2 degrees...who knew?

I have been graduated from college for 3 years now, and I just barely found out that I have 2 Bachelor's Degrees. I guess we can chalk this one up as another of my awesome BLONDE moments. I did a double major in speech communication and public relations at Utah State and I always thought that I had a bachelor's degree, but with double emphasis. Well, I was wrong. We were playing a game in Hawaii where my friend said he had 2 bachelor's degrees because he did a double major. After some arguing about the subject, he told me he has 2 separate diplomas and to look at mine to see if I had the same. Sure enough, after I got back from Hawaii, I found the unopened envelope from Utah State with my diploma and TA-DA.... 2 different diplomas. I was still in disbelief, so I called the registration office at Utah State and they confirmed that because I had 2 majors, I actually completed 2 separate bachelor's degrees. Woohoo... I feel a little smarter all of the sudden. Now I better update my resume. Oh ya, in case you don't believe me, the proof is below.

LOVE HAWAII

This past week has been a tough adjustment....coming back to cold, boring Utah from my second trip to beautiful, warm, sunny Hawaii in 3 months. I know, lucky me. Hawaii really is the paradise I have dreamed of my whole life. I sure love it there and there were many times while I was sitting on the beach that I tried to plan how to move my life there. For the last 2 months, I have been working on a blog post about my first trip to Hawaii in December with my Grandma Fran. As you can see, I've been slacking a bit and haven't finished it. Once I do, then I'll attempt to capture and recreate my second go-around that I took with my friends just a few weeks ago. Both trips were AMAZING and a TON of fun! I was able to see and do so many awesome things. I feel extremely lucky and blessed to have had the opportunity to visit such a beautiful place TWICE in such a short amount of time. I just wanted to post a little THANK YOU, or as Hawaiian's say, MAHALO to the beautiful islands of Hawaii. To be continued...
