Mylie's Four!

Four years ago today, Mylie made me a mother. I'd always wanted to be a mom and she made that dream come true! She has been such a joy in my life and I will always be grateful to her for the tender experience she has given me. I love you to pieces Mylie Moo!

Happy Birthday Addie!

Dear Addie,

I feel like you were born just yesterday! I was so excited to meet you and I felt like you couldn't come soon enough. Finally, the big day arrived! I was scheduled to be induced at 7:00 that morning. By the time we got into the room and got everything situated, they didn't actually induce me until 9:00 am. You were here by 11:15 am and you were beautiful! From the start, I could tell you were going to be an easy going little girl!

I love being your mommy! I love how every morning when I come to get you out of your crib you say "Hi!" and smile so big! I love that you follow your big sister around and that you love to play on the big bean bag. I even love how you pinch me when you are tired.

You have been such a joy in our lives, Addie Bear! We are so happy you are a part of our family and I'm thrilled that I get to be your mommy!

Mylie's a pre-schooler and Addie can walk!

Addie started walking about a week before she turned 11 months old! I can't believe how fast the time has flown by. She shouldn't be walking yet! I have a really cute video of her walking but the darn thing won't upload so here are a couple of really cute pictures of her instead.

She really loves to swing at the park!

I officially have a pre-schooler now! I can't believe she's this old! Mylie was really excited to go to school and so far she has loved every minute of it. Let's just hope it stays that way.

I have a lot more pictures to post but I can't seem to keep up on the blog these days. I'll post more when I can get around to it.

The girls

I took pictures of the girls a couple weeks ago and haven't had a chance to post them until now. Here are some of my favorite ones....

Addie is just like Mylie was when she was a baby....she doesn't love the picture taking! She was totally distracted the entire time.

Mylie has kind of started to like to get her picture taken. When she's in the mood we can really get some cute ones.

I love these little girls so much!

What's been happening...

These pictures are totally out of order but, quite frankly, I'm too lazy to fix them. Actually, I'm too lazy and tired to even go into much detail about anything so the captions will have to sum it all up for you.

Addie started to crawl!!

Mylie gave her first talk in Primary. It was the cutest thing ever!

I just posted this picture cause she's cute.

We went to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point. This picture pretty much sums up how it went.

The girls are growing like weeds! I can't get over how big they are.

We went to Palisade with some friends and had a blast! Mylie and Addie are little fish in the water! They LOVE the water.

Since they love the water so much we've been playing in the pool a lot and we've even had friends and family over for mini swim parties. The bad thing is the irrigation water is sooo dirty so I've used culinary water to fill the pool each time. I'm praying our water bill isn't huge!

Easter and Other Fun Stuff

We've been up to a lot lately but I haven't had time to blog about it! Here are a bunch of pictures of what's been going on.

We had a movie night in March. We set Mylie's tent up in the family room and Mike and I even brought our mattress out (both of us woke up very sore the next day) and we just munched on candy and popcorn and watched Mega Mind. Addie enjoyed it by sleeping in her bed!

Mylie got a new giant leaf to go over her bed. She's in love with it!

Addie is growing so fast and is just as happy as can be! We love having her in the family!

Mylie still really loves being a big sister. I thought it would wear off but it hasn't yet!

We went to Thanksgiving Point for their Easter Eggstreem last Saturday. It was crazy!

We tried to get pictures of the Easter egg hunt but it was so crazy we ended up only getting a picture of Mylie's shoulder. This is her after the hunt.
Addie got her face painted like a bunny (sort of). She looked so stinkin' cute!
On Sunday we had dinner and an Easter egg hunt at my parents house. Mylie was in heaven because every egg was for her! Addie just hung out on top of the hot tub.

A whole lot of nothin'....

We haven't been up to a lot lately. We're busy but boring at the same time. Anyway, here are a few pictures from the past month...

Mylie planted a garden of money in the ice cube tray and made her princesses watch over it. I sure hope that garden grows!!

We've been having a lot of tea parties lately. As you can see, everyone and everything is invited.

Mylie has decided recently that she can dress herself and do her own hair. I think it's working out rather well. Classy.

Addie is growing like a weed! She rolls over and she can sit up by herself. She hasn't mastered it yet but she's getting there and she's just so darn cute!

She started eating solids a couple of weeks ago. This is her first time trying sweet potatoes. She was a little shocked.

Addie is a really happy baby. Right now she has a fever of 101 and you'd never know it. She's just happy to be alive!

We finally took Mylie to get her ears pierced. I've wanted to do it since she was a baby but I was too chicken. She was really brave and the girls at Claire's were awesome!

She wouldn't let me take a picture of her after so this is a picture of her the next day with her new earrings! I love them!
