8 Months!

My baby turned 8 months old on November 4. Holy Moly where did the time go?! He is just getting way too big way, way too fast! Sometimes I wish I could pause life for awhile because I know that one day I will miss this time with my kids so much! I love being a mommy! Anyway, here's a list of things that Jax does now.

- Crawls on his hands and knees.....EVERYWHERE!!!

- Climbs the stairs

- Pulls himself up on EVERYTHING, including his sister! 

- Attacks his sister and gives her kisses

- Follows his sister everywhere

- Walks along things

- This last week he has started standing up without hanging on to anything

- Walks around pushing a walker thing 

- LOVES food and eats everything even though he still doesn't have any teeth

- Picks up and eats everything on the floor (even carpet fibers)

- Loves to climb

- Loves to get into trouble

- Loves stuffed animals

- Loves reading books with me

- Hates sleeping

- Says mama and dada and ga ga goo goo and a bunch of other baby babble 

He is such a sweet little guy! I love playing with him! He is extremely active and doesn't really like to be held much, which makes church fun..... not! The only time he his unhappy is when he's hungry. I love my little boy so much!  

A Day at Hee Haws!

Last Saturday we had  family day at Hee Haws. Skyli went there a few weeks back with her class for a field trip and she got a free admission coupon to go back. On a fall Saturday there's nothing better to do than hit up a farm and corn maze with the fam! It was such a fun day! It was the last Saturday that they were open for the year so there weren't very many people there. We pretty much had the place to our selves. We did the hay ride, corn maze, slide, petting zoo, horse ride, sand box and a few other things they had there. It was a blast! I love my family and spending time with them is the best! Who could blame me? They are pretty amazing!

I love my family! They are the greatest! I'm so thankful for my husband and kids! I would be nothing without them! Family fun days are the BEST!

Soaking up the Last of Summer

You know those days where you just need to get out of the house? Sadly we could see the end of summer rapidly approaching so we headed out to the Provo Canyon trail for a walk and some sunshine. Luckily I took my camera and got some really great pictures. 

This one is one of my favorites! She is so pretty!

Sick Sick Sick

There are very few things I hate more than having a sick kid! Poor little Skyli is super sick right now! She has some sort of viral infection that is closing her throat off making it hard to breathe and imposible to talk. She came down with it Thursday afternoon. That night she kept coughing, dry heaving, and crying all night long. At one point in the night, I was holding her and rubbing her back when she put her head on my leg, while holding a bowl to throw up in, and fell asleep. I was in tears! I hate that I can't take it away from her! There's nothing I can do other than comfort her. I hate that!  When I came home from work today I could hear her breathing from across the room. She was having such a hard time breathing so to instacare she went! One special nebulizer treatment, and one steroid shot later she came home with tears in her eyes. She is a strong little lady! She has completely lost her voice. Yesterday she was crawling around on the ground looking around. When I asked her what she was up to she replied that she was looking for her voice. I hope she can get over this thing soon! If you could send an extra prayer or two her way I would definitely appreciate it! 

Six Months Baby!

Jaxton turned 6 months old today! I can't believe it (once again)! He is such a big little guy! He is crawling, eating solid foods, smiling, laughing, babbling, and lots of other fun stuff! He has a love for food already! If you get food anywhere near him he will sacrifice his life if necessary to get just one bite! He is such a fun boy! I love being a mommy! I got the cd of his pictures from the hospital today (kind of ironic I know). I love this little baby so much! I am richly blessed to have him! I am one lucky momma! So happy 6 month birthday Jax! I hope the next 6 months slow down a bit! :)
