We just got home from our 2nd annual houseboat trip with family and friends. This year, the boat was 100 times better, what a treat to have working bathrooms! We were in the lap of luxury. Not only did the boat have just about everything you could think of: 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, large kitchen, family room, a jacuzzi, BBQ's, sound system inside and out, and a slide, it also boasted a trash compactor and a sub-zero fridge. WOW-ZA! We were loving it. We brought kayaks, and our boats and just lived in the water and ate till our hearts content. We had excellent meals and the company was superb! Thank you to everyone who planned, cooked, packed, drove, made us laugh and gave us some wonderful family memories. We can't wait until next year.
Group shot! Everyone gets along so well, we watched as the kids played from dawn until dusk everyday enjoying one anothers company. I couldn't be happier than watching my family have such a great time.
Here we are on the way, we drove about 36 miles up the lake. We were in a nice quiet cove where we could use the kayaks. Chris isn't in this picture because the guys had to drive the boats up to a dock nearer to the cove where we were going to park the houseboat. It was just the ladies and kids unpacking and getting settled on the drive there.
They were pretty excited to get moving.
