Then imagine waking up at 3am because your lower leg is hurting quite bad.....wake up enough to realize there is something in your bed, you throw back the covers, and sweep your hand across your sheets only to feel something hit your hand and fly off the bed, you panic, your husband wakes up switches on the light, searches the covers, every pillow, every corner, the floor, under the bed and finds nothing. You reluctantly get back into the bed you've stripped apart and shook vigorously. You are sure of two things...your leg has been stung or bitten, and you definitely touched something in your sheets. You sleep fitfully until your alarm goes off. You arise, begin your morning routine, gingerly walking through the house... and your husband brings this into the kitchen in a glass vase and asks, "Do you think this is what stung you?"
Imagine...
that was me this morning. Eerie, creepy, gross, disgusting, horrid, disturbing, etc, etc. Worse than the scorpion stings I've had?? Only about
100 times worse! It was in my bed for heaven sake!!!!
What's with us and the creepy crawlers? Taylor asked me what I did with it and I told her I wanted to squash it, she looked very seriously at me and said, "Mom, you don't like nature do you?" I almost felt guilty, but then......no...I didn't. Bugs belong outside, not in anyones bed. I bet any house guests will be thinking twice about staying.
