Dustin graduates!

Dustin graduated from Universal Technical Institue (UTI) on Friday March 27, 2009. I am so proud of him!

The ceremony started around 12:30. We were surprised to see Dustin's name wasn't in the program, which made us wonder if he was making all this up. Just kidding, I knew how hard he had worked and knew it must be a misprint. Turns out, it was. He graduated from FORD FACT (Ford Accelerated Credential Training) and they had a different ceremony earlier that day. Dustin chose to graduate from the regular ceremony because of friends graduating at the same time in the regular ceremony.

1 Director's List Award

Student of the Course in Hot Rod

Grade point average of 3.6

All of this combined gave him the honor of getting:

Alpha Beta Kappa Honor Society - awarded to only one other student in the class.

We are so grateful for all the family and friends who attended and who called or sent texts throughout the day. We appreciate your love and support!

Practice with the Nieces

Last weekend we had Jera, Tyson and Alysa, and Kaycee over for dinner. It was so much fun to have them over and play with Kaycee. Tyson and Alysa hadn't seen our house since we first moved in so it was cool to remember all the progress we've made.


I also got to babysit Makellen on Friday night. Two nights in one week that I got to hang out with my nieces! Although I don't feel prepared AT ALL for our little one coming in May, it was good practice.

Speaking of the baby, I had another doctor's appointment today and everything is going well. I got to hear her heart beat and I can't believe how fast it was. Something like 140 beats per minute. So cool! She moves so much now! It's crazy to see my stomach twist and jolt as she moves around.
