Where Have I Been?!?

I guess time isn't the only thing thay flys anymore!

This summer really flew by! We had lots of fun & lots of good memories! We camped several times together as a family, went on here & there and everywhere. But now school has started again...life might bet back to somewhat normal again! Here are a few picture from Ryan & Gabby's Wedding Dinner just 2 weeks ago.
Zack & Ashley were asked to throw pedals on the floor just before Ryan & Gabby entered into the Dinner. Ashley was too hungry by the time it started...so it wasn't until after a full belly she had fun.
Kids started school again! Ashley didn't want to be left out of the pictures...even though her hair wasn't done yet. Scott leaves 1 1/2 hours before Trev & Zack...so we'll have to get him later!
For the lastest on our family...check out Facebook. That has pretty much taken over my way of communication with everyone that doesn't live right here! :) I check my Facebook page daily! :)

May Highlights

SHAC Triathlon

5 months of anticipation...and we did it!

I completed my 1st Triathlon on April 18th, 2009

It seems like forever ago, my friend Terica asked me

if I would like to train for a Triathlon...

And we did it!!! And more Tri's to come!!!

Reagan has been super supportive during the whole process
He even came with us to set up at 5:30 in the morning!

Happy Birthday Zack!!!

Happy Birthday Zack!!! Yesterday was Zacks Birthday and we celebrated it all day long. He didn't get his cake until bedtime though! He wanted Texas Sheet Cake so bad (thanks Wendy!!! It was so good!!!)
Zack got a new bike for his birthday! He was so excited to pick it out. He didn't want to go look at another store....He wanted this bike! (minus the training wheels! hahaha)
Zack also wanted a Sky Ball really bad. Funny thing is that I had never heard of them before until about a week prior. All the stores were sold out of them. I was able to find one hidden back behind things in another isle (what luck!). Scott also gave Zack his old game boy. :)
Zack and Ashley are the best of friends. They have so much fun together! Ashley will sure miss Zack next year when Zack is in school all day long! :)

What have we been doing?!?!

The kids have been really busy playing basketball!

Raiders and City League has been going on,

City League just finished Sat (yea!!!)

Raiders continues all year long, the season is

really just beginning for Raiders in March.

We love it! Especially the Raiders team! :)

I personally am still training for the Triathlons.

I really really want a road bike. Do you know how

hard it is to ride that stupid stationary bike for 58 min!!!

And that is only half way through my training program!

It really can drive you nuts...really! So I need to get out!

So any advice would be great! I am going to

look into it more today! :)

It finally "Clicked"

I have been training for a triathlon for about a month and a half now. And my biggest hurdle has been to learn how to swim. Yes I know I must be crazy to try to do this without knowing how to swim beforehand. But I am determined. So my running and biking have gone well, but I have been trying to figure out the whole breathing in the water thing. :) I have also gotten quite good on my backstroke. But really I have been wishing I had fins, or could use snorkel gear or something. But today it clicked!!!! Yesterday my good friend was showing me how she does it and after trying it today...it worked! And it better work tomorrow too! hahaha! I really don't want to drown come June. I am not worried about the April one because it is half the distance in swimming and it is at a pool. The one in June is twice as long and in a lake with hurds of people! Anyways....Wish me luck! :)

Our Princess has turned 2!!! And boy is she ever a girly girl! Ashley got play makeup and bracelets and shopping food and dresses... It is so much fun!!!

At least she won't be getting in to mine as much!

Happy Birthday Trevor!!!

Look who had a Birthday! He wants to learn how to play a guitar so bad, and since he has done really well in the piano, we decided to give him his guitar for his birthday!
Trevor had a fun birthday party. They went and saw Bedtime Stories!

And we had the traditional Pizza Party.

Trevor was excited Uncle Ryan and Gabby were able to make it too!

We love you very much Trevor! And we are thankful that you have such wonderful friends! They really are awesome boys and alot of fun!

Happy New Years!

We were rockin to RockBand 2 New Years Eve with our friends the Ellsworths! Thanks for having us over!
Then we settled down for a little bit to watch a movie, but 1/2 of the kids fell asleep, so we continued the party later at our house! It was lots of fun!
We had so much fun that Reagan decided how to spend the Christmas money we got.
Kind of dejavu from last Christmas morning with the original RockBand. :)

Baby girl is almost 2. 10 more days!

This Christmas Day we didn't worry about running here and there. It was icky weather so we couldn't travel up north, so we just hung out all day. Only Mom and Dad got ready for the day. It was so nice to just relax and enjoy the day. :)
