The dentist

Morgan  had his first real dentist appointment and he handled it like a champ.

But had a really hard time smiling afterward.

The Election

Chris had a great year running for County Commissioner. We tried to do as much as we could as a family, and the boys loved walking in the parades.
The "fun" debate between Chris and Alan

Another parade, and this time Bridgett and Boyd joined us.

The first "real" debate, dressing a little cowboy to fit in.

The results. We did not win this time, but we will try again in two years for one of the other two seats. I am of proud of Chris for the integrity he showed throughout the campaign, he was never rude or degrading but he held his own, and the people loved him.

Hunting season

In October the boys had the wonderful opportunity to go with Chris hunting. I stayed with mom and helped her since she was only a few weeks out from her open heart surgery. They loved every minute of camping, hiking, hot chocolate, grandpa stories, and shooting BB guns. I love that they have those experiences with their daddy. And I love that my daddy shared all those memories with Chris.
On the last day of the hunt at the very last possible minute, we spotted a nice little buck, (And when I say we I mean I), and we got him. The boys were so excited, they named him Lucky Buck.

MEMORIES!!!

Our Newest Adventure

We thought that we weren't busy enough, so we decided to start another sport. We originally only put Camden in but the coach allowed the other boys to practice at practice too. Our next door neighbors are very into wrestling so they loaned us some singlets, and shoes and we were on our way.

Our last match

At the last practice mason took Camden's tooth to his head.

About 5 days later it was so infected and nasty. But nothing a little antibiotic couldn't cure.
It was a fun season, and they cant wait to get back into it next year.

Horseshoes

Grandmas house is so beautiful in the summer, when we are all sweating down in St George it is refreshing to go up in the cooler weather. We taught the boys how to play horseshoes and they loved it. It was nice to sit and watch them play, and think of how proud my daddy would be of us for teaching our boys how to play the things he loved.

Even Morgan played left handed with a sling on and a broken collar bone.

We love our grandma!

Pretty

Morgan came into me one morning and said "Mom you need to come look outside, it is pretty outside." So we went and looked out the window and noticed how pretty the clouds looked and decided to run and get my camera. Once we got out there he said "Mom those clouds are good at changing colors!" Yes they are Morgie! It was one of the best ways to get out of bed.
