We have a Date

We chose a date!! Well... we actually were kind of given a date. haha. I was leaning towards wanting to do the wedding/reception at Sherwood Hills so today Rodney, my mom and I went there to check out the facility. The lady there told us that they were doubling their prices and that she didn't have any availability - I was pretty bummed but we decided to come check out a place in Logan. When we pulled up I immediately knew I had to have it there. We toured the place and talked with the owner and everything just seemed perfect! So he gave me the availability and we decided.

The Ring

So Rodney asked me with a one-size-fits-all ring and then we went and picked out my ring together a couple days later. We were just going to go look around a couple different stores and then decide, but I fell in love with a ring in the first store we stopped at - The Diamond Gallery. It was actually 2 rings that I fell in love with so we put the two together and had one custom made. This picture obviously doesn't do it justice - but I wanted to show it. It was a pain to try and get because the economy is so bad, credit is hard to come by.

New Year's Eve!

What a great ending to a great year! We had some of our friends over to celebrate with us, it was a fun night. 2009 is going to be an exciting year... I still can't believe it's already here! Rodney's sister-in-law's are expecting, our wedding, i'll be finishing up with my Bachelor's degree, etc, etc. Tons of stuff to look forward to!
