Well i took my last final today!!! I am sooo excited. I can't believe I'm done!!! Ah this feels so great. I never thought this day would come - and now it's here and i can focus totally on the wedding. :) Happy Day!

Adventure Day
One of Rodney's good friends came up last night and they hung out all night. I had to get up early this morning to go to a team challenge for the wight loss thing i'm doin and when I got home none of us could think of anything fun to do. So... we had a brilliant idea to drive to salt lake and go to the aquarium. I forgot my camera :( so there is no photo's so i'll just have to tell you all about it! We got to pet sting rays!! They feel so wierd. We saw a little shark, jellyfish, an awesome octopus and other cool fish. Afterwards we went to the Mayan. It was my first time eating there - man that is an amazing restaurant. I couldn't eat what I wanted cuz of my diet but I had a pretty great salad. I tried to convince Rodney to let me go buy tickets at the door for the jazz game but he wouldn't let me. I guess I'm glad he didn't cuz it was not a great game.

Bridal Shower
My maid-of-honor threw me a fantastic bridal shower this last week. It was just my sister's in Chi Omega and it was definitely great to see everyone. Claire bought me this little head band with a crown and veil... I've decided to wear it at the wedding. haha. We had great food and played a couple games. Claire called Rodney and asked him all these questions and then they asked me them and if I got them wrong then I had to put a grape in my mouth. I think I did pretty good... I only missed like 4 questions. And one of those was Rodney's fault ;) and the question was what is your favorite feature of Rissa's? and I said my eyes... (earlier that day he said "I love your eye's so much" so when they asked me the question I thought back to that comment and thought he was giving me a hint) but his real answer was so sweet. "All of them". Aww. What a great guy I have. Anyway... Thanks again for planning it all Claire!!
Baby Animal Days
Yep that's right! Rodney and I went to baby animal days with most of Rodney's family. It was a lot of fun. We got to see tons of animals and watched how fun his niece's and nephew's had seeing the little baby's. :)This guy had this huge "olden day" bike there that he was letting everyone get on and feel it. It made me feel sooo tall! I could
barely touch the pedals. Then... we found the reptiles. Snakes just freak me out. But of course Rodney couldn't wait to hold it. That snake was HUGE!!! We saw these little turtles that were so cute.We spent the rest of the easter weekend with Rodney's family. The weather was still a little cold so we didn't get to do too much outside but we had fun nonetheless!

Upcoming... Graduation!
Wow I can't believe it's almost here. A little less than 1 month and I will official be a College Graduate!! I honestly didn't ever think this day would come and now that it is finally here I felt like it came really fast. haha. I'm kind of afraid to not be in school anymore because it has consumed my life for way too long!
Jackson Hole
Me and Rodney spent a weekend in Jackson Hole watching the hill climbs the 27 and 28 of March. It was my first time seeing them but Rodney's been before. We went and stayed with my mom and step-dad and Leeann and Wayne (my mom's best friend and husband). We had such a fun weekend. It's really fun watching the snowmobiler's go up this super steep mountain. We didn't get to see many wrecks - but a few came tumbling back down. That night we went out and hung out with a few of Rodney's friend and 
watched a live band then we went to the Virginian where my mom was and hung out there the rest of the night. I definitely want to go back next year - It was a fun time!
Hunter's Education
Most of you have had the pleasure of hearing this story, if not, prepare to be amused.
One of my elective classes this semester {Living with Wildlife} had a requirement of going through the hunter education program. For those of you who hunt are probably familiar with this and the program - but for those of you who aren't... you have to take a written test about different types of guns, gun safety, hunter ethics, and different types of bullets. Then comes the shooting test. You have to get 50% or better shooting in this little circular area.
Written tests don't scare me to bad, shooting tests on the other hand - freak me out!! I have never really shot a gun before so I asked Rodney if he would teach me.
He said he had a 22-250 that is "easy to shoot, it doesn't kick back, and it's not that loud."
Sounded good to me.
Rodney's Side:
We get all set up with the folding table and chair and target in position. She asks me to take a few shots first so she can see how it's done. I got in position and fired the first shot. I look over at Rissa and she had turned around and got back into the car and rolled up all the windows - she didn't look to good. I went over and asked her what was wrong and she told me it scared her and she didn't want to shoot again. Well - I wasn't about to let us just go home after we came up here. Besides, she had to take the test anyway. So I try to explain that to her and she is getting more and more frustrated and scared. Finally my coercing worked and she took the gun and got in position to shoot. I told her to let the gun suprise her by squeezing the trigger slowly. After she finally pulled the trigger and let the first shot go I was all excited to see how well she had done. I look over at the table and she is still holding the gun pointed at the target but her head is between her legs and she's just crying away.
I couldn't help but laugh.

After like an hour of waiting for Rodney to get everything set up just right for me to try shooting I asked him to shoot one first so I could see how it was done. After he took his first shot I just turned around and got into the car and rolled up the windows to shield me from the horror that is that gun. It was sooo loud and it looked like it hurt him by "kicking back". I politely told him that I did not want to try it anymore and it didn't look like fun. After he was very UN-sypmathetic to my fear he told me "We did not come up here for nothing. You have to try it."
So finally I went over to the table and got in position. I was shaking so bad and couldn't get my eye on the target in a steady way. I listened to his directions to let the gun suprise me - which did not turn out to be such a good idea. After the gun pleasantly suprised me by it's volume and power I just let my head drop and started crying. Rodney laughed - I wanted to punch him. I don't think a career in hunting is in my future.
