{Curious George}

My sister got these cute shirts for the boys with Curious George on them. The idea was to get a picture of the TWO of them wearing their matching shirts, but Miles was the only one willing to smile for the camera.

Mac even found another camera and tried taking pictures of me instead!

{Bish}

Today my mom and I took the kids to the aquarium down in Sandy to see the "bish" (as Mac would say).

Of course- Miles is not looking in the first pic and Mac is obviously thrilled about having to take another one. So...I had to post both. One for each kid.

{Birthday Bashes}

Saturday Ryan, me, Corey, and my mom headed out west to meet some friends. We had two birthday bashes to celebrate for this trip- Grammy's birthday and Kevan's 30th birthday! Most of you know, but Wendover was absolutely Grammy's favorite place. I will never forget the first time she took me to Wendover, which was on my 21st birthday. She took me with my parents and Ryan and we gambled all night. Then Ryan, me, and my dad went to bed around 4:30 am to get some sleep. At about 9:00 we woke up and as we were getting ready my mom and Grammy walked in together just a giggling away! She TOTALLY out-partied me!

Well, Ryan INSISTED on getting there early to help decorate the big suite we got for Kevan. The room was awesome- there was a big couch, hot tub, full bar, and even little blue lights around the trim at the top!

Ryan and Corey blew up a ton of balloons and put them in the hot tub and Bonnie brought a cake and some more balloons.

Jaclyn and me. I absolutely LOVE this shirt. Grammy always wanted one so I thought it would be appropriate to wear, but had no idea how many people would think it was real. I even had a tatoo artist come over and ask me where I had gotten my artwork done! I couldn't help but laugh!

{Mr. Personality}

This kid is a total ham. Sometimes I do not think he is my child. And then I remember who I am married to. Like father like son.

{Miles Smiles}

Miles is now 5 months old and I can't believe how quick the time has gone. I love how his personality comes out more and more everyday and I love how happy he is. Seriously, for those of you who are around him a lot, I don't have to tell you this, but he is ALWAYS smiling. You can just look at him and say hi and he smiles back. When he smiles his whole face lights up and he has the cutest dimples!

{Thumbsucker}

Neither one of my boys have ever been into binkies, but lately Miles has become quite the little thumbsucker. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. Don't get me wrong, it's super cute...especially because he always has his other hand playing with his own hair, but you can't throw the thumb away like the binkie right? Plus, I have one particular family member (I am not going to name names) who has sucked her thumb for WAY too long (love ya, but you can't argue here)!

{Banned}

Today my kids are banned to the couch....I just got back from taking Mac to the doctor's and he's got croup :( Yuck. I know. So it's movies and soup all day at the Jensen house.


Well, this is how Mac feels about being stuck on the couch all day while we can hear all the neighbor kids outside playing....





Apparantly being sick doesn't change the fact that Mac has enough energy to go around for all and is going to continue to jump around the couch as if the "banning" doesn't exist.

{Rice Cereal & Ramen Noodles}

Yesterday we gave Miles rice cereal for the first time. It was pretty funny to watch him- he still hasn't quite figured out how to swallow so he mostly just let it sit in his mouth and looked up at me like "what the heck is this." By the end of the bowl, he got the hang of it. While we were feeding Miles and taking pictures Mac had to keep reminding us that he was eating too. He didn't really understand why we were making such a fuss about Miles and kept saying "mom....dad....I eat...." and pointing down his throat.

{Thomas the Train}

For Christmas Mac got tickets to Thomas & Friends Live at the E Center. He had forgot about the tickets until earlier this week when I told him that we were going to see the trains this week (by the way we no longer call them choo-choos, they are officially "twains" in Mac's vocabulary.)

So all week he has been talking about going to see the trains and today he even asked for his train ticket....I didn't want to give him the real ticket in case he lost it so I gave him the receipt that looks just like the ticket. He carried it around all day today, even ate his snacks with it sitting next to him, and then kept it on his lap the entire ride to the E Center. This is the picture of Mac when we first arrived at the show and he insisted on showing everyone his ticket.

Mac seriously walked around to all the kids and workers showing them HIS ticket. If you listen closely you can hear him tell this little boy that the ticket is "MINE" and then he hides it under his arm!

Mac had so much fun and it was such a big event for him that as soon as we got him buckled into his carseat, he fell sound asleep. He didn't even wake up when I carried him in from the car. Here is in passed out on the couch- shoes still on!
