The Blue Koalas

The Blue Koalas's season came to an end today. They have had some highs and lows this season, but they have learned a lot and really started to understand the game of soccer.

Olivia was a bit of a monster and didn't make dad too happy. Since it was the last game all she wanted to do was score goals and was willing to play zero defense or pass the ball. Not a team player I tell you. For all of her efforts a goal never came and she ended up having to go sit in the car straight afterwards without being able to say goodbye to her team mates. Not a good day for Olivia, but a good day for the rest of the family. Now we only have one soccer player to support!

Goodbye Playroom

I was hoping that we might be able to avoid his day, but the time has come that we have to say kidney to the playroom. Olivia has been complaining about Sam in her room and it has been getting a little tiresome having to move her from our bed to hers each night so that Sam can go to bed before her. It also makes waking the little lady up in the morning a little challenging.

The boys are moving to the playroom and Sam will get their old room. While they were sad to have to move, the thought of the TV in their room helped sweeten the deal (which they have been old will disappear if they are ever caught watching it without permission) Now we just have to find a place for everything and make a few donations to the Good Will.

Halloween

Tonight we got dressed up again and headed over to the traditional Fourtner party. The kids enjoyed roaming the neighborhood and gathering sweets. Zach was a little put out that people kept saying that he was a storm trooper when he was obviously Luke Skywalker Storm Trooper and one lady said that Thomas looked great as.  We just laughed and put it down to her being old!

Trunk or Treat

We got all dressed up in our Star Wars outfits for Trunk or Treat tonight. Ryan was good enough to come along with us and take some pictures. The weather was cool, but dry. At this time of year to really can't ask for better than that.

Schilter's Pumpkin Patch

We had been wanting to head out to Schilter's all month, but whenever we weren't busy with life or soccer it seemed to be raining. The weather was good after school and we were really down to the wire so I just decided that Thomas would have to be a little late for soccer. It was one of those times when I felt that we just had to throw the schedule aside and go have some fun together.
